Mannequin [DVD] [1987] [2003]

I remembered watching this when I was much younger - and the movie still stands up now! Jonathan Switcher is moving from job to job, never holding one down for a minute - until he inadvertantly "saves" the owner of a large, well known but now failing department store, from certain death over a falling ovber head sign! And being the creative chap that he is, he is offered a job on the spot by the owner, working in the window design section making Manequins. While creating his latest stunningly beautiful mannequin, it comes to life !! the lovely Kim Cattrall plays the part well and helps Jonathan design windows that draw in the crowds again and the store flourishes. But all is not good as the rival store wants in !! It's a riotous comedy with excellent performances by Catrall as the manequin, Andrew McCarthy as Jonathon Switcher and a real gem of a star, Meshach Taylor as Jonathan's flamboyantly gay assistant, Hollywood. I love it! Can't believe the DVD was only a fiver! Go get it!

Liked quality of colour

Great quality and a very good price. Bought as a gift for a friend and they loved it.

The film is good to watch but can be a bit slow in places. But worth watching.

Seen the film many years ago wanted to see it again so bought a copy never disappointed

I found that this movie exists because of one very nice song so after searching,I couldn’t do anything else then buy it and watch it.DVD arrived promptly and in good qualityIt is a lovely comedy

Me costó encontrarla en castellano así que me encantó poder disfrutarla

Arrivato oggi, 7 gennaio 2022. Origine UK, copertina (bella!) come da foto in lingua inglese; ma il disco ha la traccia audio in lingua italiana. Il dvd è di ottima qualità audio/video considerando che è un cult dell'87!Commedia sentimentale genuina che mette il buonumore; consigliata a tutti i fan dell'epoca d'oro del cinema americano: film così purtroppo non ne escono più.Ottima colonna sonora che comprende l'epica "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" degli Starship.Un film da vedere e rivedere ancora e ancora...

昔見た映画で懐かしくて購入しました。画質はあまりよくないですが、　普通に鑑賞できます。ただDVDのリージョンコードに注意が必要です。　　又、PCでも鑑賞できます。
