Bullt a cajon drum for my husband and use the snare to put inside obviously. Cut it in halfs and put both of them in, the sound is amazing.My husband aboslutely loves the drum now, and so much cheaper to built it yourself and install the snare than buying the drum.

Good sturdy snare but don't expect as good as big brands. Bought for a cajon I made and sounds pretty good.

I wanted a small snare drum like a Kajon but didn't want to pay the prices they charge for them. Instead, I bought one of these cheap little beauties and when it was delivered in typical Amazon fashion, replete with massively wasteful, oversized cardboard box, I re-purposed the box by taping this thing into the bottom of it - voila! - Dirt cheap snare drum that sounds great!

Not bad for the price

It has given my Mapex snare drum a new lease of life for a fraction of the price compared to the more expensive brands of snare strainers.
