Baby eczema
We have been using this cream and the Weleda Mallow Lotion for about 4 weeks. So far these are the only moisturisers that work on our 8 month old, who has had baby eczema for about 3 months. Already having tried lots of other natural creams and lotions, including the other Weleda baby range 'Calendula' plus also the Neal's Yard Baby Lotion but everything was too perfumed, especially on the face.Actually we found all the Calendula based creams to irritate his skin and be very drying even the plain sesame oil and calendula extract (possible Ragweed issue), plus some of the range has Lanolin in which we are avoiding. I do realize that they might work well for others but as far as we have experienced this is the best.Have been applying just to the sore areas on face as often as they become dry. Has a rich consistency which is easy to smooth on, even over very rough skin where it tends to sit for a while then absorbs after a couple of minutes. Not scented and has a mild kind of herbal aroma, not unpleasant. A little goes a long way, though if applying regularly a tube can get used up quite quickly. It is expensive but in our case worth it as really helps at moment. Quite difficult to find in shops, sometimes if we run out before ordering again have found in bigger Boots branches and some health food stores.

The perfect cream for babies with eczema prone sensitive dry skin
If like me you were desperately looking for something for your baby with eczema that worked other than steroid creams then I would definitely recommend this cream. My poor baby boy started suffering with eczema on his face from about 3 months old. The doctor told me that as I had asthma as a baby my children would be more susceptible to have allergies like eczema. The doctor had also prescribed many different creams such as aveeno, epadrem, centraben and i had also tried diprobase and oilatum but everything seemed to irritate his skin even more. The only thing that worked was a mild steroid cream but once I stopped using it his skin flared up again. I even just put coconut oil on for a while as it didnt irritate his skin but didnt provide enough moisturisation and his skin was so dry and flaky every morning. He was constantly scratching it and cutting his wee face. I did a bit of research online and found this stuff and it is amazing! I still have to continue to apply it but it doesnt irritate his skin and his skin feels lovely and soft again after just one week. I have since bought the body lotion as well and its just as great as he has also developed small patches of dry skin on his arms and legs. Love that this product is totally natural and is so gentle on his delicate skin. Would love if they done a shampoo and bath cream in the white mallow range. Hopefully it works as well for others as it has for us. I really do think it's a miracle cream!

This cream is brilliant. I use it for myself as I have extremely sensitive skin with sore patches of eczema on my face. I have tried normal 'adult' moisturisers on my face which just happen to exacerbate the problem. I did some research into natural products which don't include Sodium Lauryl Sulphite (SLS) and came across the Weleda range. I decided to try this cream even though it is labelled for babies. This cream is fantastic, it soothes when I put it on and helps keep my skin soft. My eczema is still red and sore but I am hoping that if I carry on using this it will at least tone down the redness. I'm not expecting a miracle cure as I have eczema in other places and it flares up in the winter anyway. If you have a similar problem to me then I really recommend you try this cream! While its pricey, I didn't mind paying because the relief it brings to my skin is more than worth it and with it being so thick it will definitely last a while.A side note to anyone with eczema, if you don't know, try searching for products without SLS or SLES as they are both known irritants to eczema and as they are usually in the majority of shower gels, bath creams, toothpastes, shampoos, washing powders etc it can be especially difficult to stop the problem! For years I was using these on my skin without realising that these were causing the issue.

Baby eczema miracle cream
I cannot even begin to describe how amazing this cream is for our 12 month old. It's brought me to tears, of sheer relief, as it's made his skin so soft and bearable - others have noticed too. We've even been able to keep his scratch mitts off for most of the day. He's had bad eczema on his face and head since 3 month old. Tried all the usual prescribed ointments- cetraben, emulsifying ointment, can't remember all the others: there's been loads. Also tried beeswax and other natural ones, but they've not helped. Hydrocortisone or Fucidin have helped when really bad, but didn't want to keep relying on these. We've also been on a food elimination diet, swapped to hypoallergenic milk, and can't seem to find a pattern to know what's triggering it.We've been using this stuff for about 3 days now. For all it's not gone, and we know it won't, we're managing it much better - even contemplating taking him swimming (in a chlorinated pool) which we've not dared do before now, and it's just so exciting!!
