Great Product
The colours from these brush pens are excellent, and it can be used to colour in very small places without it bleeding outside of the lines. But mixing colours with these is pretty difficult (though I might just be bad at it). Also about 6 months of using these, one of the colours (light blue) had ran out, probably because I used it on drawing skies and oceans. If you plan to use these often, I recommend buying spares, as you may run out of a colour you like.Otherwise, excellent product. Just be ready to buy more if you like one colour a lot and figure out how to mix it better. I personally used swatches on a different piece of paper. It wasn't perfect, but it was okay.

Luxurious deep fluid colour in twizzling-wizard hues!
As a professional artist drawing children's books and comics I like to try new things out so that I can widen my creative output and make marks in new and intriguing ways. A regular black-ink brush-pen has been the main staple of my increasingly battered and worn out (but still fondly loved) pencil case for the last decade or two, so this set of pens is a very welcome addition to a well practiced tool set. I'm an outlines-then-colour-in kind of guy most of the time, but the vitality and vibrance of colour these pens give has opened up a few new doorways for me to explore, either by laying down flat colour, or layering colours on top of each other / blending two or more tones together. In a manner reminiscent of rapidly drying watercolour paints, if you're quick you can one colour to bleed into another which is always fun. I'd imagine spraying some water on them would further the pigment spread if you were feeling daring. I demand a lot of the materials I use as I use things a lot once they've passed the "test"; many pens fall by the side, lying forlorn and dormant in boxes in the studio, slowly desiccating under the weight of their own inertia, hoping one day to be rediscovered as an vintage collectible and feature on the Antiques Roadshow. I feel that these pens are unlikely to be joining them as they're too good. If I need a quick fix of zippy colour then I'll whip one out and fire away. My personal feeling is that the lighter colours are more exciting and I'd like to see a greater range of yellows, pinks, oranges, blues, and so on and so forth, but as previously mentioned, I like to build layers of colour up. I can see these being a handy addition to watercolour paintings as the nibs retain their point very nicely, so relatively accurate application is plausible, though frankly my colouring in is utterly erratic at the best of times so that's not really a great concern for me. I'd imagine these would be great for doing lettering with, so typographic and caligraphic wizzo's would get a lot from them. Attached is a drawing I coloured in with them of my family making a mess. (Note - for clarity the line drawing was drawn with a different pen). Luxurious colours abounding!

Great quality watercolour pen set at amazing price!
To be honest I bought these pens to make up my order for free P&P. I’m an avid Crafter and the last thing I really needed was another set of pens! But they looked great value for money (£12.90p) and I thought they were worth a try. When they arrived I was amazed at the quality! They come in a nice sturdy plastic case with 2 poppers to keep the cover shut, so great for traveling. The pens are in a plastic slide out tray so easy to get at and there is a nice bright selection of colours. The pens themselves are very light and have a good sturdy top which is a tight fit and “clicks” on so you know they are not going to dry out, hopefully. They works straight away, no priming needed. The nib is a lovely soft brush, which actually works like a brush so you have the same brush control as you would with your watercolour brush. They colours are really pigmented and bright. I don’t do proper watercolour painting, I am an art journaler and mixmedia hobby artist but I have been doing it for many years and have used a lot of different pens. These are up there with the best I have tried. The only problem I can see if you are a watercolour painter is the colour palette might be a bit bright but for Art Journaling and planners etc they are great. I would definitely recommend them.

Teenage daughter loves using them.
Bought for my daughter as she loves the adult standard colouring books. She uses them to de-stress as she prepares for GCSEs.She is very artistic & says these pens are very precise, great colour range & does not soak through the pages.I have seen some of the colouring projects, she likes Kirby Rosanne's books, which look very intricate. The results are vibrant & ‘pop’She has used them for some of her Art homework too.The pens have lasted ages, but we have just got her a 3rd set in 2 years. The pen nibs are brushes & no issues with stray hairs. She has tried another brand, but says they are not a patch on Bower pens.May I please request Bower produce a much bigger set with more colours. 20 is a little basic.Thank you.

A new and easy way of doing art
Was first given these as a gift. Was so pleased with them, decided to buy a bigger set. Can draw with them, or use with water to create water colour paintings
