Great pump but not ideal for exclusive pumping.
My little one has been sleeping really well at night since very early on, which means I wake up with very full boobs! I simply attach this to one boob whilst she feeds off the other and my boobs are instantly relieved and I will have around 90ml (3oz) - or more if I empty the pump and put it back on - milk expressed ready to give her a bottle or freeze for later. I’m not sure it would be the best pump to use if you are looking to purely pump and not breast feed, as I’ve found that I get a lot more milk if I use it on one boob whilst feeding from the other. But if you are breast feeding, it’s a great way of collecting some milk, without having to find the time to pump between feeds. It’s really simple to use - just suction it on and leave it to do it’s job - and really easy to clean as it’s just one part with no fiddly little bits.

Epic
My baby was in neonates so i had to express which is really hard when you are running back and forth to the unit. All they have in the hospital is the electric ones and although they were great to stimulate and get me going it meant i was tied down to time and a room. This was a super handy wee pump i was able to connect it and hold him hands free. i was also able to bring it in the car and work away pretty discreetly while driving about (passenger). I know its really just for let down but i found i got a good amount out of it. if i altered the suction i managed to get more it really helped me with hand expressing. Great quality for the price easy cleaned and sterilised. honestly for the price its pretty great. I wasnt able to express for long due to low supply and not being well but i dont regret buying these. i bought two and i know i can either lend them out or use them in my next pregnancy. brilliant product highly reccomend.

So useful
This is a great product. I was sceptical at first, as I already have an electric pump and didn't feel a need for a manual one like this. However, it's really handy for just attaching to a breast when baby is feeding from the opposite side. It catches any drops of milk that would otherwise be wasted in a breast pad. It's easy to attach, though might take a bit of practice to get the suction right - too little and you won't get much milk, too much and it can cause some discomfort. I can now get a good amount of milk from this that I'm rarely bothering with the electric pump! Highly recommended - though a little expensive for what it is. I do suggest buying a stopper or lid for it - you don't want to risk spilling that liquid gold! I purchased the NatureBond one from Amazon which fits well, it's cheaper than the official Haakaa one.

Handy little gadget
I bought this pump as my LG was starting to sleep longer at night and when she began her morning feed I would leak on the other side. So I was looking for something to collect this excess milk so it was just getting wasted on a pad.The pump is great for this however I find it quite difficult to manoeuvre whilst baby is latched too. I feel the bottle is too big for me to feed at the same time.I have however use this when visiting the in-laws. On the drive there I pop it on and then I can use this milk to feed baby when we arrive. Works a treat as it keeps me feeling comfortable and baby gets a top up too. Its also fab for a night out too.The bottle itself is easy to use, give it a squeeze, pop it on and it'll sort itself out. I usually get about 1-2oz per use. Cleaning is easy. I just dunk it in hot soapy water, quick rinse then pop in the steriliser. The bottle has a handy groove on it which makes it easy to pour into any storage bottles or bags without any mess.Would recommend. Cant really go wrong.

This was recommended to me by a midwife while I was having ...
This was recommended to me by a midwife while I was having problems expressing. I had both an electric breast pump and a handpump at home, but neither made me completely happy. This is simple but fantasic. It uses suction to pull milk out, no continuous pressure or squeezing required. Just get it gripped and it does the work for you. No noisy pump sounding like a mocking cow next to you. No clunky handpump to use. This was a godsend and I even used to turn it so I could use it while lying in bed on my side, and even when breastfeeding (when my baby was very young). It can lose suction when the outer ring is damp (which happened when I would empty the milk into a bottle) but so did the others I used, so just wipe round before trying to reattach. I would outright recommend this over both the hand and electrical versions.

Great product
I’ve started using this pump now that baby is 3 weeks old and my milk supply has settled. It works really well for me, I use it 2-4 times a day while breastfeeding to catch the let down in my other breast and collect 1-2oz within around 10 minutes. This gives me around 4oz a day that I can freeze to start building up a supply. It’s comfortable to wear, I’ve had no issues with the suction and it’s much easier to clean than any other pump I have used. Really happy with this purchase as it perfectly meets my needs.

Really good product
I loved this product when I first started breastfeeding. My baby is now 8 months so I do not feel the need to use this as I don’t have a huge supply anymore but for the first few months I used this product a lot.The only downside to note is CANNOT BE USED FOR COLD WATER STERILISATION (e.g Milton) which was rubbish as I had to boil it all the time in a pan. A few times I just chucked it in the Milton steriliser but has since gone extremely yellow because of the material.I didn’t realise that you couldn’t sterilise this type of material so be warned if you rely on cold water sterilisation.Id also note that it is no where near as powerful suction as when I first had it but this could be down to the fact I’ve used it in cold water steriliser a couple of times as no body has time to be boiling this in hot water when it’s the middle of the night
