Montezuma's 73% Cocoa Very Dark Chocolate Organic 100 g (Pack of 4)

Having recently discovered my liking for dark chocolate, it's quite difficult to get organic from the supermarkets. I'd tried Montezuma's Orange and Geranium and that is by far by favourite, but I was interested to know what their basic dark chocolate is like. I don't dislike it but for me, I feel that Green and Blacks 70% has the edge, it being more smooth and silky.

There is nothing wrong with the chocolate but it is often stored wrongly and acquires a white bloom. This does not alter the taste but you cannot offer people chocolate with a white bloom on it. I had a very difficult time when I 'phoned the manufacturer, who said they had no control over where their retail outlets store it. What is the point of making expensive chocolate if it is then ruined by storage and why do they feel it is nothing to do with them when the customer complains. They finally told me they would send an envelope and I could return the chocolate, whereas they should have immediately offered a refund and said they would look into it. E. Kahn

Having more food intolerances than fingers on both hands - this is wonderful. I used to be a real chocoholic, but things have changed within my physiology, and I was left with the very bleak spectre of a world without that lovely, creamy, more-ish sensation of a piece of delicious chocolate that melts slowly in your mouth! I do not like the bitter dark chocolates - the words bitter and chocolate should not, in my opinion, appear in one sentence. This is rich, creamy, and straight from some heavenly body! From this you may deduce that I like it! Like it - I'm considering buying the factory rights!!!!

Over time, I have sampled some very fine dark chocolates from different places in the world, and have always favoured that with cocoa butter to an average 70% dark label.Well, have found one of my heavenly choc here with Montezuma's 73% Cocoa Very Dark Chocolate Organic.Absolutely delicious! Will definitely buy it again!

Good value pack .Just the right strength of flavour for me.Plenty of cocoa taste and milk smoothness.

Love this Chocolate, used to get from Waitrose, but they stopped selling it , so Amazon gets my business …….. and they all wonder why Amazon is cleaning up and the B&Ms are struggling
