Goodbye garbage bags and ziploc bags! Biobag is all I'm using now, where I used to use plastic. It works just as well, with one caveat - wet things will cause it to break down fairly quickly, by design. So, put wet things in a smaller biobag and take it out right away, no big deal. The only downside is that it's more expensive than plastic bags, though not by much. When you consider damage to the planet - it's waaay cheaper than plastic. One other note: these are designed to break down more for commercial food waste recyclers. They don't recommend them for home composters.

To get the most out of these bags you shouldn't put too much "wet" items in the bag and throw out the trash every night. These bags are strong but you can't expect them to work the same as plastic. Be conscious about what you place in the bag and you will never have a problem and you will feel better that the hundreds of trash bags you use won't be around in a thousand years.

These bags are part of our regular kitchen routine. typically one per day, for kitchen veggie scraps suitable for our yard waste bin. I don't consider ourselves obsessive recyclers, but this is very easy and keeps things neat.

We have used these bags for years. I had to buy a large quantity and now they are in smaller quantities. Also buy the large shopping bags for our small waste baskets I have a square can and tall kitchen bags fit perfectly.

Love these. They are the only ones that fit my Simple Human trash can in our kitchen and not all stores carry them. Simple Human does not make bio bags door some insane reason, I got a case of them. Tip - if you keep them under sink put the box in a large Ziploc bag as if there is any leakage from your sink or garbage disposal and they get wet, they are useless.
