If you liked Davenport, you'll love his daughter.
Great 1st book of a new female lead character. Has all the hallmarks of Sandford's cutting edge storytelling.

Very promising start
Love all Sandford books and am constantly amazed at the consistently high standard. This new one which propels Lucas Davenport's daughter, Lettie, to central stage certainly does not disappoint either. Clearly a very promising start to what will surely be another Sandford best selling series it constantly holds the attention and is, as always with Sandford, a real page turner. Recommended highly to all thriller lovers.

Another John Sandford cracking read.
Excellent read and Letty Davenport takes over where Lucas left. My only gripe with the book was, due to suffering from Advanced Glaucoma, I really struggled with the smaller print which was also a light grey. I got through it but wish publishers would realise that not everyone has 20/20 vision. I tend to read on Kindie nowadays and for whatever reason this book isn't available for Kindle unlike all the other John Sandford books......however I totally recommend this book.

Disappointing
Very disappointed, as a John Sandford fan I thought that this book was below his usual standard. It read more like a CJ Box novel, very little depth more a chronological list of events.😱😱I was so looking forward to it.

Shocking Price for a book
Book was great - the usual Sandford thrilling story. However, I borrowed the book from a friend. I refuse to pay nearly £20 for a book. Sandford is a great read but not at £20 a book. Will not be buying any more of his books at this price. Shocking !

Dreadful
I’ve read every Lucas Davenport novel and they’re mostly superb. This book was dreadful, terrible writing style and certainly not by John Sandford. It was so badly edited I could hardly read it, either the digital download was corrupted or it was just appallingly proof read before issue. So bad I returned it for a refund.
