Sass & Belle Weekly planner chalkboard

I know a lot of people have purchased this board to plan their family’s weekly meals etc. - but I bought this planner board to plan out my weekly running schedule!I’d seen something similar on a runner’s gift website which I thought was a good idea but it was over twice the price which lead me to check Amazon and I’m glad I did!I’ve been using it for just over a week and it’s been a great motivator. My life is really busy with family responsibilities and a full-time job so usually the first thing to be dropped is a run. Writing out planned sessions on this board so I can see it every time I’m in the room has really forced me to stick to the plan, to make time for myself and get out there.The board itself is about A3-sized with a little shelf at the bottom for the chalk, although it also had a thread attached where you can attach the chalk. As many reviews have noted, my chalk was broken (in half) but it didn’t really bother me, I can still use it. I would say this item is functional over decorative, it’s quite plain, the chalk thread is exactly that - just a length of cotton and construction looks basic but hey - once it’s on the wall, it’s perfectly fine and I didn’t really expect anything better for the price. I’m happy for what I paid for it.

This planner is great for anything you need to plan around the house.We needed to set up meal plans so that we keep track of our weekly shop and this board is great to hang in a kitchen so everyone knows what we are having and what we need to buy for our meals without over spending on the weekly shop. We've saved a load just from planning meals.It can also be used for kids activities, doctors appointments,reminders and weekly events if you have a busy house.You get the board and a load of coloured chalk so kids can have decorating the board too. There is place for the chalk to sit on the board so you don't loose the it but I would add a little cup to put the chalk in if you hang this on a door because they can fall out.Well made product with lots of colours for fun play and great way to keep track.

Good value for a weekly diary of shifts and appointments for the 2 of us at home. A bigger family would need a bigger board than this, I think. Chalk stick included in plastic bag but was broken in 3 pieces on arrival. The cotton acting as chalk-hanger was wrapped around the chalk and bag and knotted so was difficult to get the chalk out. Could do with the cotton thread being string as the cotton is flimsy. At least the chalk actually wrote which is more than the 2 boxes I bought separately to use(well-known brand) - they slide off the board and are difficult to see. After reading reviews that chalk pen was difficult to remove, I bought proper chalk especially but the new sticks slide. Maybe if I break them, like the original is, they will work.I have propped it up in my kitchen as I don’t want to damage my walls. The ledge to put chalks is helpful. All in all I am pleased with the board for the price. It does the job without paying out a fortune like some of the chalk boards on sale.

Bought this for my elderly father and it has really helped him keep track of appointments etc. Very easy to use and clean. Good quality chalk supplied. Would recommend.

Nice little board, but too porous for chalk pens. I have to use a melamine sponge to remove the chalk pen and its taken the black off the blackboard, so its ugly now. Don't have this issue with chalks.

Really useful item

Looks good and nice size. Only downside fir me was I purchased blackboard chalk pens and did my menu but when tried to wipe off it would not. Recommend ensuring you do not make same mistake. Took me 2 hours to get mist off but still can see it.

So pleased that this board is exactly the size I was looking for!It is sturdy, well made and looks great. It has been in use for a couple of weeks and is still easy to wipe clean with a dry cloth and takes various brands of chalk, (even the cheapo stuff) well.Can't fault it so far.

Good size for writing out a meal plan every week. We don't put the chalk on the provided string as there is also a ledge provided.

Sehr süße kleine Tafel, die genau der Abbildung entspricht.Das Schreiben mit Kreidestiften funktioniert sehr gut und das Geschriebene lässt sich leicht mit einem Schwamm oder auch der bloßen Hand entfernen.

Grundsätzlich ist der Artikel okay. Aber bei der mir gelieferten Tafel war der Aufdruck nicht vollständig..sehr schade.Bei der zweiten Lieferung wurde es immer noch nicht besser.. 2x Tafel, 2x ist der Monday nicht vollständig aufgedruckt.Hat niemand anderes dieses Problem?
