Please note that this review is written for the Silver Female to 2 Male Splitter cable, not the White version, which is instead two females and a male, please double check you have selected the right cable for your needs.Does exactly what you'd expect; this cable will split your audio into two streams, with one for audio in (headphones) and one for audio out (microphone).The cable itself is quite flexible which helps a lot when it comes to cable management or mobility, while the solid parts use a smooth plastic which makes a lovely sound if you hit them together (almost metallic sound).This cable also has an adjuster to ensure that the female connectors stay as close or far away as you need them.The only negative I can find with the cable is a slight overhang and visible seams in the middle sections' plastic, which is just where a bit extra was left on when it was taken out of the mold (I only mention this because I can't find any other faults and I don't want to bring bias into this review).The overhand is easy enough to remove by hand or with tweasers if you have large fingers, and the seam could probably be cleaned up with some very careful scraping (nail filer, sandpaper etc. just be VERY gentle).Overall this is the perfect cable if you need something simple but pretty to split your audio, and the second Ugreen make a black version I'll be buying it.

After buying some headphones for my son and checking they were compatible with his PC and being assured they were, he was heartbroken to get home and try to use them, only to find they didn't work and could only have either sound or speech - not both together at the same time. This may not be a huge problem for some, but for a child with Aspergers this was as bad as the end of the world.I didn't know what to do and happened upon this product while desperately searching the Internet for a solution. I use this with my Skullcandy Crusher Wireless headset. When using the headset wireless due to Bluetooth limitations you cannot use the Microphone and Stereo audio at the same time.However, you can have both of these things when you use them wired through an Aux Cable with an in-line Mic. However, the In-Line Mic provided with them has only one Male output, which needs to be split into two Outputs to use with a PC.The UGreen Splitter does this perfectly with these headphones. Surround sound audio plays correctly and there is no loss to sound quality.The microphone sounds pretty good (though it may pick up background audio so use a noise-cancelling solution where possible.)The only thing I don't like about the splitter is a minor personal gripe - which is that I prefer rubberised material using on the connectors rather than metal.

I spent a lot of time looking for a good quality four pole to dual 3 pole splitter to work with an android phone. If I had an iPhone it would have been easy as they are dime a dozen. But finding one for android phones is nearly impossible. I say nearly impossible because this is the only one I have found that does exactly that.I have a Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 g headset which I use with my phone when out and about, but I wanted to use it on my PC as well because my previous headset wasn't that great sound wise. However, I wanted a splitter that was of good quality and that didn't have wiring so thin it was almost transparent.This Ugreen splitter is exactly what I was looking for. Both the female and dual male connections are sturdy and feel durable. They fit snugly and never feel loose, so you never feel that they are going to allow wiggle in the connection causing crackles in your audio. The wiring is quite thick and more than adiquate to the job. It is the same thickness, if not slightly thicker, than the cable on the Sennhieser headset, meaning you don't have to worry that your audio is going to sound weedy because the wiring isn't up to the job.I highly recommend this product if you need a Y splitter for your four pole android headset that will not compromise your sound quality and allows both your audio and mic to work on your PC.Well done Ugreen, thank you for this product.

What looked like the product I was looking for, after connecting it to both audio out and microphone in, as soon as I connect microphone, I just listen to static; it does work like it should, and I can get both audio out and microphone in, using my Bose QC25 headphones with provided cable, but I can't get around static; maybe mine came faulty, I don't know, but now I can't return it, because I live far away from UK. If you are lucky, this is a good product.EDIT2: I changed it to 5 stars (was 2 stars before) because I was getting static because I was using audio output from a DAC, and input on an external thunderbolt docking station; need to sort this out, but when I connect both audio in and out in the docking station, the product works great, no issues whatsoever! I just need to find how to get away from static when using the USB DAC.

I have been using these since they arrived. Until one day i plugged my headphones in and only the left side is working i tried plugging the headphones in on their own and they work fine? Could i please either have a refund or a new product. I'm very annoyed by this.

Interference from headphone audio will get caught in mic input. Basically people can hear exactly what your listening to over the mic (even with headphones disconnected).Though nice materials and strong hold, it is a nice product just issue above kills all use of it.
