Pllieay 100 Sheets 15 x 15 cm 50 Vivid Colours Origami Paper for Arts and Crafts Projects

I organised an Arts and Crafts Expo at our seniors housing scheme and promised that I'd learn origami if people would get to work on their own craft works. These paper sets are ideal for beginners, and I'm glad to say I managed to get nearly 20 origami sculptures done in time for the Expo, from simple petals to a crane, and for the kids, a green dinosaur. Great new hobby, and very useful packs of coloured paper.

I was very disappointed with this origami paper. The product description says "100 sheets with a coloured front and white reverse, each colour 2 sheets". However at the bottom of the description it says "NOTE: including both double-side and single-side papers" which is contradictory to the first statement. Unfortunately I didn't spot this, however, even if I had, I still would have not been happy with this paper because of the variable quality. For the record almost exactly a quarter of the sheets were coloured/white and THREE QUARTERS were single coloured. The two-tone paper was actually very good and very much the sort of origami paper I have used in the past. The single colour papers were a different matter: they were much less smooth and had more of a texture: this paper did not have the same strength as the two-tone paper and was excessively weakened by multiple creasings. The two all white papers feel substantially thicker than the rest: too thick for origami in my opinion. To summarise, I found just a quarter of the pack to be usable origami paper.

The paper is ok. It’s thinner than I thought it would be. The colours are nice and bright but don’t of the pages were damaged as you can (hopefully) see in the pictures. Also the colour is only on one of the sides of the paper, that might be advertised and I didn’t see it.It’s still going to work for what I want but I’m slightly disappointed.

Don't buy these if you want paper that is coloured on one side and white on the other. The information is misleading and less than a quarter of these were suitable for what I wanted. If I can get an alternative in time I will be sending them back.

Comes as two packs of 50. Good colours and seems good quality paper. Not sure it's absolutely square but at my level of expertise it's perfectly adequate for the job. Very pleased and happily rediscovering stuff I did years ago at school.

Avoid this product at all costs if you want to use the sheets for Origami. The paper is poor quality, doesn't retain folds and leaves you with a poor finish. So bad that it made me write my first ever amazon product review.
