Expensive but always durable and well made. Previous flap lasted 4 years before my big dog died so I made the flap smaller for the remaining toy dogs. This is a new flap for my new Labrador.

We bought this XL product back in 2013 to fit to our backdoor so that our four large dogs could come and go as they pleased from our back garden into the house. It was also purchased as an energy saving device so that we didn't have to have a door open in cold weather. Well it works brilliantly! I cannot praise this product enough. We had four huge dogs, 2 white German Shepherds easily 45kg, and 2 Alaskan Malamutes one of which is MASSIVE at 75kg and nearly 6ft 2inch when he stands on his hind feet and is 102.5cm tall (only 1cm shorter than the World Record Breaking Tallest Dog!) and yet he dashes in and out of the dog flap several times a day with ease! We have just purchased another of these amazing XL dog flaps as, after 8 years of continuous use, it is understandably looking a bit shabby now and the sliding closing door is sticking, but this has lasted way beyond it's original 3yr guarantee. Fantastic product, easy to fit and amazing for the freedom, health & happiness of your fur babies! Highly recommended!!!

The door is great, size was accurate, seal was tight and instructions were easy to follow and easy to install overall. HOWEVER, it came with PLASTIC SCREWS which as you can imagine were VERY flimsy so we had to go and buy metal ones, which you shouldn’t have to when you are spending £60.

This is by far the best dog flap I've had put in my back door. My friend fitted it. And said it was so easy to install. My dogs have chewed previous flaps off and made a hole but with this one because the flap is so easy it doesn't bother them at all. Lovely and big for my 3 large huskies to get through. The cover that goes over to close is is very sturdy and clips in with a dead bolt on the top so it's very secure. I am pleased as I have had this fitted about 2 months now and it's still sturdy and very easy to wipe clean. 5 stars as I won't be needing to buy a new dog flap every couple of months now. I'm a joiner by trade so found this very easy to fit. I wasn't sure about the plastic bolts but they do seem ok and we're very easy to break off to a flush fit after securing. The flexible flap is surprising good and stays in place well on the magnet. My dog is a large lab/collie cross and this size was perfect for him. He loves being able to come and go as he pleases while I'm at work and I don't feel as anxious leaving him and he has ready access to toilet himself as well as his food and water.

We bought this to replace our old wooden one which one of the dogs had decided to chew. It seemed to be quite well made and fitting should have been simple as the whole was already in the door. However the securing bolts are plastic and we managed to break one of them straight away, luckily we had a spare correctly sized bolt to replace it.The dogs have had no problems using it and for the first couple of days worked well. That was until the first bit of windy weather! the magnet at the base is not strong enough to secure it and during gusts and it flaps like a main sail in the wind, and unfortunately if the wind is blowing the rain in to we get a wet floor. Also this flapping means that the more unsettled dog has grown to dislike it and won't go near it if the wind is blowing, again resulting in a puddle on the floor. Just waiting now for destructo dog to destroy the flappy bit so that we can buy one with a solid flap.

J’avais la même en plastique qui n’a pas duré longtemps contrairement à celle ci. Parfait pour mes 2 husky qui sont des brutes et passent dedans à toute vitesse donc la porte est résistante
