Good purchase. Bracket is very secure, flange hides screws. Actually ships with quality screws. I expected to buys screws separately but didn’t need to. Would buy again and I like a strong, clean part and install.

I bought these to accommodate my wife's condition after she got out of the hospital. Luckily, her recovery was very rapid and she didn't need for these to be installed in either of the bathrooms. However, I'd examined these grab bars carefully while originally preparing to install them (including locating all of the associated wall studs and marking them with painters tape!), and was very impressed with their construction and appearance. I will say that I'd use a different type of screw to anchor them into place instead of the ones provided (I tend to overdo things by nature!), but that's a very minor item that wouldn't prevent me from buying these again in the future if the need arose.

This very sturdy bar means I can use my commode. Could not manage without it. My son mounted it to the wall. Just wish it had been a little less expensive.

Easy to install? Sure was. I hired a handyman to put them in as I had just had surgery and couldn't manage to stand for long periods. Thus the need for the safety bars in the shower. Truth is now that they are in I wonder why I didn't do it sooner. Safety bars can help reduce the falls in a shower and prevent injuries and even death in falls. Every shower should have them no matter what. If you are building make sure your builder installs 2x10 backer around the perimeter so the bars can be installed where you want them without having to depend on hitting a stud!

The trim ring covering mounting flange is very sharp…cut hazard….other than that it is good.

This was purchased to replace a Moen grab bars that were installed but whose screw covers kept falling off the screw area and sliding along the grab bar. The supplier/installer proceeded to caulk the screw covers to the wall, which kept the covers secure but allowed water to accumulate inside the larger, fancier screw covers. Not wanting future mold issues, I bought these grab bars with simpler screw covers to replace the Moen grab bars with fancier screw covers. I bought Moen so that the holes would line up with the existing holes and I wouldn't have to make new holes in the wall and fill in the old holes. Well, the other grab bars were removed, the caulking taken off the walls, and the holes matched up perfectly. All good, now, and the little lady is happy. That's the most important thing.
