The Cloud Nine Micro Iron Hair Straightener

Couple of good and bad points I'd like to share with you all:Good:1. Bargain: Cheaper than the Cloud 9's website (£54.95) I was skeptical about the price at first since it's too good to be true with the thought of having a two pin plug hence the price. Fear not it's a 3 pin UK plug!2. Does exactly the same job as my GHD's Eclipse (having used this brand for many years) so all in all a great value for money.3. Questions you all might have is can it be used on long hair as well as short? Yes. I have straight medium-long fine hair with side bangs and it works perfectly fine, though it may take longer to style having to split the hair strands into sections since it's a micro straightener. I bought this mainly for travelling purposes and it's lightness, perfect for styling on the go and has hibernation mode.4. The design of Cloud 9's Micro Iron plates has an ultra-smooth, mineral-infused ceramic surfaces which minimizes dragging or pinches which is amazing and leaves a glossy finish! (Thumbs up for that) I tend to find the GHD's Eclipse pinches/drags a strand of my hair when I style at times (kinda annoying).Bad:1. The charger is quite big almost the size of your palm (I'm not really fussed about that but thought I'd share it to you all)2. Does not come with temperature control (again I personally don't mind this)Package includes a protective iron heat guard for those wondering.Overall I am completely satisfied with Cloud 9's product and may consider replacing my GHD's!

These are amazing and I really did not think before about having hair straighteners for specific tasks. They are great if you are going abroad and can do all your hair but they are fab a fringes when you are at home alongside full size products.

Small very easy to use, does great job.Easy to take with you on holiday.

Granted I have shorter hair in a bob-style but these are mini miracles! I bought them as I go abroad a lot and I'm really impressed with the size although the massive plug and extra long wire are a bit bulky. That said, I tested these after blow-drying my frizzy locks first and they actually worked better than my regular GHD's! They took no longer to complete than my regular straighteners and the result was very impressive. I found that straightening the back was a bit risky keeping my fingers away from the plates but they really come into their own when doing the front as you can get much closer and higher. I wouldn't use these as my every day straighteners but can't wait for my holidays. If all Cloud 9 products are this good I'm definitely converting from my GHD's next time

Great size for travelling; however: the plug is bigger than the straightener itself so it’s awkward to handle. The whole thing with the huge plug doesn’t fit in the transport bag that comes in the box, which is really annoying. The 150 degrees it reaches are not enough to properly straighten your hair if it’s naturally wavy like mine. It takes double the time to do the whole head than a normal straightener, and like I said, doesn’t raise enough temperature so you have to pass it a lot of times to achieve a proper straightened look.All in all, I didn’t love this product and feel the price point is way too high for what it does. I really wanted to like it, but I will return it when I get back from my trip :(

This is a good, compact hair straightener. I bought it for the specific purpose of styling a new fringe, as my 'normal' sized straightener caused a bump at the top of my fringe, and couldn't get the smaller hairs around my face. For this, the micro straightener is perfect. However, it doesn't quite straighten my fringe all the way to the ends. I have to get my other straighteners out to get kinks out of the length of my fringe. I don't really mind, as the micro straightener has solved the problem I had with the bigger straightener, but I also feel like for the price, the micro should be able to straighten all the way to the ends, so only 4*. I wouldn't even consider it for styling the rest of my hair, I have thick and wavy hair and I don't think it would be up to the task, so bear that in mind. But I didn't buy it for that, it would have just been a bonus to take use these for travel.

Compac and easy to take to the gym ,use at home or to travel. I bought these to replace the same which lasted me about 5 years and used every day .highly recommend . Also they turn themselves off if you leave them on by mistake

I picked these up because being a bloke with an undercut and longish fringe but not particularly long hair overall. I didnt want to get a pair of wider tongs as the last GHDs I had I would frequently catch and burn my fingers trying to get them around. The slimness of the Cloud 9s means I can easily grab a patch of hair from the front and get straight hair quickly. Highly effective straighteners, but my hair isnt particularly thick or unruly. I just like to get rid of the natural wave.These things only take seconds to heat up which is handy. Being so small they are useful for travelling, come with a heat protected slip on cover, but also a pouch. Unfortunately that pouch isnt big enough to hold the cable and the plug / power pack - which is a chunky old thing and (being the only detrimental thing I can find about the tongs) can be awkward to share a multisocket with other plugs.

Bevor ich im einzelnen auf das Geraet eingehe, moechte ich HIER das mehrfache Netzstecker-Problem aufklaeren. Bei einer Bestellung ueber den NEXXT HAIR SHOP (autorisierter deutscher Cloud Nine Haendler), wird das Geraet auch mit EU-Stecker und einer Art Garantie-Zertifikat mit Geraet-Seriennummer ausgeliefert. Meint man, das Geraet vermeintlich guenstiger ueber England ordern zu muessen, so muss man sich auch damit abfinden einen GB/UK-Stecker zu erhalten ... *nur zur Info*Meine Haarstruktur: festes, dickes, naturgelocktes Haar ... also eine grosse Herausforderung an das C9 Micro Iron.Vor Anwendung => Haare waschen u. handtuchtrocken mit Hitzeschutzspray behandelnAnwendung => bei komplett getrocknetem Haar (Foen- oder Lufttrocknen)Zum Finishing => nach dem Glaetten massiere ich leicht Kokoswachs in mein Haar einFazit zum Cloud Nine Micro Iron:Zu Anfang hatte ich bedenken, ob die Temperatur von 150° ausreichend zur Glaettung fuer mein starriges Rosshaar ist, doch hat mich das Cloud Nine Micro schnell eines besseren belehrt. Die Glaettplatten sind komplett aus Voll-Keramik, und nicht aus Metall mit NUR einer duennen Keramik/Nano-Beschichtung, wie bei guenstigeren Geraeten. Die Haare koennen damit richtig zu diversen Frisuren gestyled, und sogar wieder umgestyled werden. Sprich ... habe ich eine Straehne zuvor seitlich anliegend gelegt (Seitenscheitel), so kann ich bei nochmaligen anwenden diese korrigieren und nach oben abstehend stellen (Spike-Look). Auch bleibt das Ergebnis ueber Tage hinweg gleich, ohne das sich mein Haar bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit wieder kraeuselt, oder zusammenfaellt. Die Haarstruktur sieht nach der Anwendung, gesund und seidig glatt aus ... und dies bis in die Spitzen ... *ich bin total begeistert*Meine Erfahrungen zu diversen 'Billig-Glaetteisen':Denn erst wer weiss, wie man durch andere Produkte auf die Schnauze fallen kann ... weiss den Wert eines guten Produktes zu schaetzen. Die Miniglaetteisen die ich zuvor hatte, hatten durchgehend das Manko, dass sich die Beschichtung (Keramic-Nano) in kuerzester Zeit von den 190° Glaett-Metallplatten geloest hat, und somit meine Haare versenkt wurden (durch fehlenden Schutz). Haarpartien sahen wie abgefressen aus, und die Spitzen waren durchgehend knubbelig und splissig. Auch konnte ich meine Haare nie richtig in Form legen, nach oben gehende Straehnen sahen aus wie ein zerplatzter Pinsel. Auch hielt das Styling nur so lange, wie die Luftfeuchtigkeit nicht zu hoch wurde, trotz Finishing mit Wachs.Was hat mich zum Kauf bewegt:- Testsieger und Bericht dazu- Vollkeramikplatten- deutscher autorisierter Haendler (NEXXT HAIR SHOP)- zahlreiche Fehlkaeufe, die mein Haar kaputt machten- Hitzeschutzkappe- umgehend betriebsbereit- nach 20 Sek. Absschaltautomatik- langes Kabel- sehr edler Bandzug Alcantara-Beutel- Preis-Leistung fuer Ausstattung, Verarbeitung und Qualitaet absolut TOPDafuer gibt es fuer mich, die vollen ✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️ Sterne

Maneggevole, leggera, è una piastra di qualità anche nelle piccole dimensioni. Ottima per la frangia. Unico difetto: non si può regolare il calore.
