There are a lot of types of cat litter, I use clumping granules because it is the cheapest and doesn't spread far once kitty get out the box with bits stuck to their feet. It sweeps up easily, absorbs all the pee and contains the smell. What it also does is become heavy when wet, and trying to push a scoop through it is like stirring cement. I have gone through many of the cheap plastic scoops and had them snap on me as I tried to scoop a clump of wet granlues because they can't take the pressure. This metal scoop is perfect. It lifts the wet clump straight out without stressing it, allows any dry granules to be shaken off when removing poop, and is larger than the cheap efforts, both in width and depth, so gets the job done faster and cleaner. It can also be cleaned easier, with a rinse by a hose. The price is a little high, but this will last much longer than anything plastic. Easily recommended to indoor cat owners, for fast and efficient removal of their business.

This is a very good litter scoop! It's big and strong and holds comfortably. It's actually quite a bit larger than I expected, it's larger than the common plastic scoops you can buy in the supermarket or that come with certain litter boxes but after getting used to it I have to say it works very well.It will definitely last much longer than all the plastic ones!! I think I've gone through 5 plastic scoops in about 3 years!!Well pleased with this metal one!!I absolutely recommend this scoop to all cat owners!!

How I've managed for 5 yrs without this & having 2 Maine Coons, I do not know!!!! Many broken plastic litter scoops & many loud curses!!!! This is brilliant!!! It's a great size, it's strong, it's great for use with the clumping litter I use & it deals so easily with the gigantic Maine Coon pee's & poo's (they are way bigger than most other cat breeds ablutions! Lol) I'd definitely recommend this scoop to anyone though. It should last for many years. I'm just about to order another one for my cats litter box in their outdoor run. 5 stars from me! 10 if I could give them! Delivery super fast through Prime too.

Excellent litter scoop. I've never used the flimsy plastic type, as they are useless with clay cat litter, but have been using a small metal dust pan - I don't mean from a dustpan and brush set rather a small metal shovel - but having moved to plant based clumping litter a few months ago, I found it to be rather wasteful. As long as you use a good clumping litter - I use Super Benek Corn Natural Clumping Litter, which in my opinion is as good as World's Best, but an awful lot cheaper - the scoop works brilliantly. The slots are just the right size, and you can scoop loads of litter one go. When I first saw it, I thought it was going to be way too big, but it's perfect. Very strong and durable. Hopefully it will last for years. I'm delighted with my purchase, and cannot recommend it enough.

We have 4 house cats in our home and after replacing broken plastic scoops (plastic age hardens) yet again went for this Metal scoop - It is alloy not stainless steel - However not an issue for me or my good (cat) lady - Firm grip Rubber Handle with the diagonal slots are good for cleaning the litter - so much so bought another as we have litter trays upstairs and down - Will not have to buy/replace broken litter scoops again. Happy to recommend

I never really thought about getting a stainless steel scoop over plastic before, but now I have I'll never go back. It's just more sturdy and seems so much more hygienic. My old plastic one has scratches and never looks clean anymore, despite being cleaned vigorously in bleach.This scoop is larger than I was expecting, it looks like a giant scoop compared to my old one, and that wasn't particularly small either. However it is fine to use and I don't notice it anymore. Recommended.

Wow it is huge so will take half the time, my plastic one broke just at the base of the handle so had to use a slotted spoon which is too small.Local supermarket only had a tiny thing which would more than likely go the same way as the one that had just broken. A metal one is a much better option and unlike others will fit into the corners of the litter tray. I also like the soft grip handle which is nice to hold. Big thumbs up to who ever designed this I wish I had got something like this ages ago. Will definitely recommend give it 10/10.

This has got to be the best cat litter scoop that I have ever bought, by far, and I have bought several over the years. It is large, so it makes scooping much easier. It is very strong, unlike the plastic ones, which bend and snap, and don’t last any time at all. It is comfortable to use, mainly because if the soft, but strong, handle. Great item.
