55 SportElastic Lock Shoelaces For Running & Triathlon

I already have various shoes with similar shoe laces in them, and these work as well as any of them. My shoes on and off in seconds, obviously never a problem with them coming undone, easy to loosen or tighten as needed and I like the choice of colours! Brilliant choice for walking boots!

I didn't even realise these could be purchased until I spotted some on Amazon a month or two before I needed to buy some for some new trainers. I am having difficulty using my thumbs at the moment so I thought these might make wearing a new pair of trainers easier.They arrived in a bag with lacing instructions. all four ends of the elasticated laces were hardened to make lacing easier and they fit through the holes in the trainers without difficulty. The instructions show how to lace and fit through the plastic bits but do not give any firm information as to the best type of knot to use. I've never been a scout so I just knotted in my own style. It seemed pretty firm and the cone shape hid most of it from view. I then cut off the excess lace - of course this cuts off the hardened bit so lacing into something else would be more difficult. Not really a problem as I bought them just for these trainers.I am delighted how easy it is to put the trainers on and lace them firmly. I can tighten one handed if I need to so if one of my thumbs is really playing up I don't have to use it. I also like the little bit of give the elastic gives as you walk - it stops the trainers feeling tight and gives a very natural walking experience.I am looking at my other boots and shoes to see if any of them would benefit from this type of lace arrangement.Very happy and recommended for those who might find using ordinary laces difficult.

I have two pairs of them and they are pretty good. My only observation that for some "sports" shoes they may be too short so its essential you measure up first.

Since losing my mobility, I have started to struggle to tie my laces.I didn't want to switch all my lovely trainers to just slide-on shoes.These laces have allowed me to wear whatever I want and look good!I have now put them in my Doc's and my Air Jordan'sLOVE THEM

Very comfortable

Although it came with no instructions, a quick search on YouTube and we were good to go. I was a bit worried that I had to get the scissors to them, just in case I cut in the wrong place, then that's five quid down the drain. My daughter has dyspraxia and the elastic nature means that lace up shoes and trainers are much easier to put on. The one negative is that the button you have to press in order to tighten the laces is really quite stiff and hard to push at the same time as pulling the laces.

I used these on some cheap trail shoes that I have ended up wearing all the time, and the shoelaces had broken off. I wasn't sure of the quality of this elastic shoelace but for the price I was willing to give it a go. I've now had it on my shoes for a few months and they're really good. Not quite the same quality as the ones on my Salomon Speedcross 5, but then I wasn't expecting that either. However, not far off.Since the laces are longer than necessary (on purpose), and you have to trim it to fit, I have found that the laces on one side have frayed just above the knot, but this hasn't really presented a problem. It just doesn't look great. Thankfully I don't wear these when I need to worry about how I look, so it's not an issue. They've so far stood up to a good amount of wear & tear without problems, whereas the shoes are falling apart. I suspect these will soon end up on a new pair of shoes in place of the laces there, and may well survive those shoes too.

These were good, good materials and they do they are intended to do. I have tried a number brands of these types of elastic laces (and if you haven't tried them before you absolutely must) and the only fault I can find with these ones is that you have to knot the ends of the laces and the knot goes into the hollow toggle and you cut the excess lace off. This means that the toggle is bigger than the clip type ending used by some other brands and so it flops around a bit more when you run. The clip type end is also much easier and less fiddly to fit (and also easier to subsequently change to another pair of shoes!).

Ces lacets élastiques sont de bonne qualité. Faciles à mettre en place, il sont très pratiques et comfortables. J'ai un problème de dos donc je cherche toujours des baskets avec des lacets élastiques et des chaussures/bottes sans lacets, mais maintenant je peux remplacer les lacets normales avec ces lacets, qui me donnent plus de choix avec des baskets et chaussures. Le choix des couleurs avec cette marque '55 sport' est geniale aussi. Je recommande.

An manchen Tagen dauert das Schuheschnüren länger, als die Zeit, die man am Laufen ist, oder so.Für solche Gelegenheiten sind diese Schnellverschlüsse einfach genial. Die Montage ist auch denkbar einfach: Alte Schnürsenkel raus, neue Schnellverschlüsse reinfädeln. Dann in den Schuh schlüpfen und den Schnürsenkel so festziehen, wie man auch einen herkömmlichen Schürsenkel festbinden würde. Stopper aufziehen, etwas Länge lassen für die Endstücke und diese anbringen. Fertig.Für Faulenzer einfach genial. Mittlerweile haben wir in unserem Haushalt schon mehrere Schuhe mit solchen Schnellverschlüssen ausgestattet und sind rundum zufrieden.Die Qualität der Senkel an sich ist übrigens super. Mein Mann brachte es fertig, jedes halbes Jahr seine Schnürsenkel zu zerreissen, aber seitdem er diese elastischen hat, ist Ruhe.
