I spent hours going through reviews of Sat Nav's. I picked this one and what a good choice it was..... I have just drove a 5 hour Journey across the UK... It was Brilliant. It will tell you to keep to the left.. it also shows you the motaway lanes when they say SOUTH EAST OR SOUTH WEST ECT.. It will tell you in plenty of time what lane to get in Brilliant... It also will let you know 1000 feet ahead of a Turn you will have to take... the screen is great nice and big and Clear.. The mount for the Device is easy to assemble to screen...Bad Point 1 the updating of maps is not clear. you have to go onto a website and register and that is it... You are then loged in and will be informed by email when updates are due to be put on the Sat Nav... Very confusing.. 2 The volume isnt very loud on it... So you cannot have any radio on when using it not even on low... 3 The Battery dosnt last long you have to keep it plugged in when using in the car... just put in lighter plug in car... Not Problem...These things are not a big issue to me as it was so cheap compared to other Sat Navs that were anything from £100... I would say this is the best Sat Nav for the price i think you can get.....

A brilliant piece of kit for the price and I would not like to be without it. It does crash now and then and doesn't load up as expected whilst in use but once you get to know, it works fine. Down side is that it only lasts for about 6 hours before dying. Not good as I am a truck driver on the road for 14 hours (Obviously not constantly driving but the unit is on) The cure was simple though. I bought a Foval Car Power Inverter 300W DC 12V to 240V AC. Only about £20 so altogether still £200 cheaper than the closest alternative.

Could not work it at all. Not amazing with technology but I can work an Xbox etc..this..this cooked my head. Every time I tried putting in a post code it would only let me put half in then I couldnt type any more. Its currently sat in my car in the box, I know I need to ask a man for help but id rather sulk pretend I can use it and work the iphone. So yeah great if you got someone to help or are not thick as... but I found it really annoying and not straight forward at all.But like I said probably just me.

It does the job, which is the main thing. You have to hit the icons quite hard to get them to operate, which can be frustrating. If you have it on voice, sometimes the instructions can come a little late. For instance it might say "turn right" as you are actually turning right and making you think there may be an immediate right after it!!The accessories for attaching it to your car were not adequate at all. The suction pad did not work which meant that it could not be mounted in the appropriate spot.

I live in Wales. Wanted to take minor road to town few miles north. Satnav took me on very narrow roads back to main road. Probably shortest route, but I could not see how to make it navigate the way I wanted to go.Very quick to locate me, better than TomTom, knew roads and junctions not on my map. I need to use it more to get best from it. More features than any other satnav I looked at, and cheaper too. Very pleased.N

This Sat Nav is fairly easy to use, it works well and arrived on time. I had an initial problem with the wrong holder being sent but this was sorted out quickly. The only down side is that on my initial journey it took me down single track roads with no passing spaces and because I had to back-track to get onto decent roads my journey took longer than it should have done.

Bought this last week for my truck, so far very good, does everything I want it too, instruction manual is poor and had to work everything out myself, but does the job well, I like the little road signs that come up on screen, I'm sure there's lot's I haven't found yet, but will. for the price it's as good as any Tom Tom or Garmin.

Worked well in the US but when the sun is shining it's a bit tricky to view. Fiddly to work out but once you do works really well. Directions aren't great so need to spend a bit of time with it before driving.
