Evoking sweet spicey notes and an baked apple sweet bitterness, this medium to dark roasted coffee is hand selected and roasted to shear perfection in our state of the art unique convection roasting oven, right here in the UK. The exceptional quality of this coffee must be tasted to appreciate its complex notes oaky notes and fruity sweetness on the palate. Graded a whopping 95 of a possible 100 by the independant coffee review. This is a true gourmet coffee, with substantial body. We roast this to just before second crack which lends itself perfectly for a wide range of coffee equipment, from traditional espresso right through to bean to cup or even french press (cafetiere). Great value & great taste
A few years ago, I bought an espresso machine. I progressed on to buying a coffee grinder so I could buy beans & grind them myself.Like a lot of people, I got fed up with the hassle and mess - coffee grounds get everywhere!I looked around for an alternative. I found my machine could take something called ESE pods so began searching for them.I tried pods from all over the place - and I wasn't impressed at all.Until, that is, I came across PureGusto. I started buy buying their mixed box and loved it. The Arabica was light & flavoursome while the Sumatra Creme was rich and, er, creamy!I bought a few boxes of those.Funny thing is though, I sort of got fed up with the variety. So, I looked at the other coffees produced by PureGusto.I found their Mama Cata pods & ordered them and they were great! A truly great blend. Full of taste but not too overpowering. I get a great mug of coffee from just one pod - I tend to have americanos.I am sticking with PureGusto - I have had enough of ordering "real" italian coffee pods & being bitterly disappointed.I am also going to stick with Mama Cata for a while. I love it.
