Great value.
Does what it says. Easy to use. Not for deep scratches. Great value. Would definitely recommend.

Works a treat with a bit of effort.
This product works very well, as long as youre prepared to put in some effort. If you're like me and read millions of reviews before parting with any money, I hope this review helps your decision. Recently I bought a black BMW, it's 17yrs old was scratched to buggery all over and covered in house paint splashes down the offside, but the price was right, mostly because of the less than perfect paintwork. It was my intention to just clean the car up a bit and use it as a run-around. After washing it I decided to do a bit of research to see what was around to spruce up the paint, after reading lots of reviews I settled on a bottle of G3 and it arrived quickly. Bear in mind I was going to have a go at the whole car... The best way I've found to use this product is to find a shady spot, not cold but out of direct sunlight so the panel you're tackling isn't hot, choose an area of the car, say half a wing, top half of a door, half a rear quarter panel, nothing too large, give it a clean with some soapy water and dry it off. Next, get a nice soft rag (I didn't bother with the applicators that they recommend, sorry, too tight!), give the bottle a good shake up, squeeze out some G3 on your rag, spray it with water, I used an old spray shower cleaner bottle that I rinsed out thoroughly, and get rubbing, straight lines, back and forth, then up and down, and back and forth again, NO CIRCLES, don't be afraid to use more water or G3, allow it to haze up a bit and then get another rag and clean it off. I could see a difference at this stage. Next I got out some colour magic that matches the car, applied that as normal, on a rag, let it dry, wipe it off and finally I gave the area I'd been working on a good polish with some of my old mans wax polish. The result has amazed me, scratches, swirls, dull areas, all the masonry paint splashes - completely gone! The paint looks deep enough to dive into and it is gleaming. It's not quite as easy as it looks in the advertising/tutorial videos, but having just finished the entire car, it looks really fantastic, almost unrecognisable. It's been a fair amount of effort and a good few hours but not everyone will have the whole car to do and there's still some product left, so it goes a long way, all done by hand and the results are genuinely outstanding.

Car paint defects remover
With patience I found it certainly improves the appearance of swirls/very light scratches ie those which do not catch a finger nail test, indeed some marks it removed them completely. For deeper scratches it reduces the appearance. On my car it does appear to had any detrimental affect on the paint. All in all it is worth trying but take your time.

Not as good as they say, false pictures on reviews
It's ok but nothing special. It takes out swirls in the paint but not scratches very well. I bought it because of some good reviews but half of them are rubbish or made up. One for instance has 2 pictures before and after. The before picture is of the back wing and the after is of a front wing. Didn't notice until it was too late. As I said, it takes out the swirls in the paint but I used a buffer machine as well.

Magic in a bottle!!
So I purchased this following a recommendation from a kitchen fitter. Just a few short months after our kitchen was installed; I stupidly (don't know why I did that) used pink stuff to remove a rubber ball mark. It left patches of scratches that I could see when the light bounced off the cashmere gloss door. The kitchen fitter was installing a kitchen for our neighbor. I had a chat with him regarding options of either replacing the door if I couldn't find a solution to repair the damage. His advice was use a damp cloth and to gently pass the cloth back and forwards over the damaged area. I then buffed it up and hey presto!! Scratchs are almost gone. I am so impressed. I was almost at the point of replacing the door which would have been very costly.

Does exactly what it claims to do
Bought the G3 liquid due to some very ugly surface scratching on a couple of areas on my two year old Velocity Red RX-8 R3. I had inadvertently caused the scratches by removing some birdlime with insufficient care. I tried unsuccessfully to polish the scratches out, so thought I'd try the G3 liquid after reading the reviews here. Well, I'm no professional, so don't have any special gear, or great knowledge, tricks, etc when it comes to this kind of thing. I do, however, like to keep my car looking good. So, first I watched a couple of demonstration videos on Youtube and it all looked too simple - like magic. But, I followed the instructions, a spray of water on the waffle pad and then applied the product as shown. It feels very gritty to start with, so go gently until you can feel it starting to break down as you work. Only a medium pressure is needed on the pad and you can tell when you've done because the surface starts to polish. A wipe with a soft cloth and presto, it really works. I mean it REALLY works. Not only is it effective, but you only need a tiny amount. This is brilliant value too. I could not praise it enough.Tip 1. Do the nail test before you buy. There is no simple way to deal with deep scratches - miracles belong in the Bible and do not apply to the paintwork on cars!Tip 2. If you are working an area close to rubber, vinyl, plastic or a window, it's a good idea to mask off that area. It'll give you the confidence to work the pad as specified and make it really easy to clean up when you've finished. Have a happy, shiny, scratch free day!
