HARIOV60 Filter Papers - Paper Coffee Filters for V60 Dripper, Compatible with Size 02, Natural, 100 Pack

These are quality, unbleached papers for your V60 pour over. I've tried the cheaper non brand ones but they flow much quicker, and are just not the same quality. For the miniscule price difference, I find it's worth going with these. I compost the used grounds along with the paper, and they break down nicely.

These are pretty good filters. Being natural and unbleached, they're a little better for the environment I suppose. They're quite large being size 2, and the paper is nice and thick, so you get a good pour through the coffee... The water doesn't leak through too fast to pick up the coffee flavour.Good value for money, and make fair coffee.

The Hario filter papers are my preferred option for a V60, and these give consistent results every time.Although these unbleached papers don't need to be rinsed, I do pour boiling water through them, just to warm the paper and the V60 cone.

I thought I’d give these Hario filter papers a try because I was not happy with the Rombouts No.2 papers I had bought from the local supermarket. Straight away it was obvious that the Rombouts were the wrong shape for a V60 and too small even though they were supposed to be the same size. The genuine Japan made Hario filters fitted the V60 cone properly and had enough room for the water without danger of overlapping. The water flowed through more evenly, and they did not impart a nasty grassy taint to the coffee flavour, like the Rombouts. I am not a coffee expert so I don’t know which other alternative brands of filters would be good, but for me not buying the Hario originals proved to be a false economy.If you found my review helpful, please click the Yes button to let me know. This is my fourth time buying the Hario V60 filters, and I can't imagine changing – despite the price increase between this and the last time I purchased them.They fit absolutely perfectly in my V60 and I've never had one tear or impact the coffee in any way. They're tasteless so rising them before use isn't necessary and now I have my grind size worked out they drain in the same manner every time allowing consistent, great tasting coffee.
