Works really well, life saver while camping as keeps all the kids gadgets well charge, and runs the cool box and an electric clip on light for night time - intend to buy the adaptor to use from normal socket too - well built and great knowing it's protected.Only thing I couldn't do was remove the little torch it has - it seems stuck but no odds really as wasn't buying it for this feature.

Used this a on a couple of camping trips now. Nice solid hookup with the USB sockets being a nice advantage when the family has everything else plugged into the main sockets. Supprising how many phones etc end up plugged into this as any one time as well as the kettle, fan etc. I think it is worth the extra few pounds to get this one over a standard 3 gang one. Nice long lead and real in makes it neat to pack and unpack. If you are using this in a tent the waterproof rating and cut outs are a must. I don't think settling for cheap one without any cutouts is a good idea as a massive safety risk in the wet. I would highly reccomend this unit.

This was our first time camping as a family and this unit was great to charge phones, electric pumps, fly swatters etc.The only problem is when you have a plug with a transformer jutting out (air pump). The 3 pin slots have a cover so you can't fit it in. we brought an extender with us so just plugged that in to connect the two. This is not an issue specific to this unit so i gave not marked it downThe USB slots were very handy , just put the rubber covers in your pocket so you don't lose themCompared to more basic units, this was great value for money

Just what we needed for a recent camping trip in a pre-erected teepee. It provided the power for the fan heater when the outside temperature was near zero. The torch came in very handy when I tried using a kettle, the fan heater and a lamp at the same time. The built in circuit breaker does its job well.My only niggle with this extension lead is the USB power sockets. They are not high-current sockets. My smartphone (Nokia) popped up a message saying I could do with a better charger and my tablet (Samsung) wouldn't charge at all.

This was used during our most recent camping trip. Its big, bulky and heavy, but incredibly safe to use. Twice during the holiday the RCD tripped as we had overloaded it by simultaneously running a fridge, kettle, and mobile phone, and also an extension cable with laptop, lamp and blow heater. We discovered that only the kettle and blow heater on at the exact same time tripped the breaker.

Brilliant product and I never had to unplug anything to charge/run all holiday. It meets all of your camping electric needs and the usb sockets are the stand out features. On plus side the brother in law was well jealous as he had a standard three plug unit ( he's a sparky as well!!!)One minor point is it's quite bulky and a touch on heavy side so if your like me and go camping with literally every thing you own it's a bit of a squeeze getting in the car. But if your looking for camping hook ups I think it's the best one on the market.

Great design as it’s very handy to be able to wind up wire. However Usb ports are flimsy and unpredictable. Plus the covers for usb ports are very easy to loose in a camping environment.

Compact and easy to use. Excellent value for money.
