Got this to try because of the clarifying charcoal properties for winter when my husband and my skin gets blemishes from wearing less breathable clothing. it's a short obvious list, which I like, though the last ingredient is an ambiguous "fragrance,' which I would have ordered listed out to know whether or was essential oil vs something artificial. Out of the box, the soap smells great. It lathers well. However, once you're in the shower and using it, according to my husband, it "feels like a generic soap.... Reminds me of Irish Spring." So it gets the job done cleaning your body but there's nothing too special about it otherwise.

I love my bars of soap..this one was okay. I liked how it fit in my square holders. Scent is masculine which the men in the house approved

I sometimes prefer masculine scents to feminine ones so I thought this bar soap was worth trying. I've used other activated charcoal products before and liked the results so I was interested in seeing how I like this one.The square bar arrives in a cardboard box with the ingredients on the outside. The bar is attractive looking but too large for most soap dishes. I always cut my bars in half to preserve them so that's not an issue for me but is worth noting.The bar creates a good lather when washing and leaves the skin feeling okay afterward. It's not drying but not terribly hydrating either. The scent is nice but I don't think it's overly masculine. It's a fresh, clean scent that I think most people would enjoy. It's strong when washing but doesn't linger too long or seem like "too much". I do find it odd that the product packaging says "Natural soap for natural people", the description says it's a "Gift set for men", and one of the photos says it's "The perfect gift for her". I think they should have dropped this gendered marketing and just stuck with the "natural people" because this is all over the place.It's a fine soap but not one I enjoy enough to reorder. The price is comparable with other "homemade" style bars but is too much money for being so mediocre.

I love that this has a strong scent because some bars of soap barely smell at all. It lathers super well and a little goes a long way. Great earthy scent if you're into that. I only wish the shape were more rectangular instead of square because it's hard to fit it in most standard soap holders, but it's not a huge problem or anything.

Beautiful presentation. Gender neutral scent - has a good lathering. Doesn’t seem to dry my skin but also doesn’t feel moisturizing. Just like a regular soap in a cute homemade shape.

I love this soap! The smell is incredible (it’s more of a masculine scent in my opinion but is neutral enough for anyone to use) it has a lot of good oils for the skin! The oils in the soap moisturize your skin well, leaving a soft silky feel rather than the usual tight skin feeling with normal bar soaps. It does have activated charcoal (depending on the material of your tub/shower this can stain so best to keep in a porcelain soap dish) although I will say, I’ve had many activated charcoal soap bars in the past and this one definitely stains less than others! I however did expect this soap to have Dead Sea salt in it which I did not find listed in the ingredients (usually when I purchase products that say “Dead Sea” this ingredient is included) The product has a fair price and overall I would recommend this soap!

Came exactly like the product pictures. It smelled so wonderful out of the box I thought of using it as an air freshener instead of as soap! I was excited to transfer that scent to my hands. However, the product did not smell the same as it did out of the box. It was not unpleasant but a standard soap smell. It lathered really well (creamy almost) and rinsed off well. Works great.

I got a bunch of SOAP.com's soaps at once to try. I like trying out different soaps. This one is one of my favorites so far. The look is dark grey, almost black. Unless you buy charcoal soaps or that popular African black soap, you just don't see this color much. The scent is nice and clean smelling. Despite the coloring, I think it would be fine for either sex to use without any issues. The bars are nice and big and help you get your money's worth. If you keep it dry, it should last a long time too. All the ingredients look fine and it's US made. Add it all up and this soap is great - I'm a fan.
