Silent Vows

This book was a journey which I enjoyed thoroughly. I didn't feel like I have to get to the end. First two chapters set the plot so one has to be patient till that only. And it's worth it. It’s got a good story with plot twist, drama, heated romance(not too much to make it boring, just the right amount). All over it's a beautiful read.

My first book from this Author and ofcourse my first mafia series and I enjoyed it ! It’s not as dark or steamy as mentioned by author. The story and plot captures your imagination and ofcourse the interesting characters too. I look forward to reading the next in this series and other books by auntor.

It was very engaging. In a matter of hours, I finished reading it. Connor and Noemi were superb together. And all the twists and turns and the suspense made this book an enjoyable read.. Keir was also very very good.

I loved everything about this book. The dynamics between Noemi & Conner were on point. I couldn't stop myself from devouring this book in 2days.Noemi's resistance is her power but gosh the way this girl picked her witty banter with Conner is adorable. There were no misunderstanding in the book which was a win for me. I loved how the author did an amazing job at making this book so easy flowed.Conner and his dirty mouth is a charmer for sure but I think I would have loved to see him with his family a little. Nonetheless I loved this book through out.

So, this is the first book in the brand new series from Jill Ramsower and it was a great way to kickstart this new world. I loved the premise of the book and ofcourse the characters. The bride, Noemi is not docile or shy like people would think when they first take a look at her. In fact she was surprisingly sassy and had a mind of her own. While Connor appeared to be somewhat broody in the beginning, I quite liked his character later on. He cared about Noemi and they made such a good couple! This was a good arranged marriage, enemies to lovers mafia romance and I cannot wait to read more books that come out in the series.

Nice story telling. good for a casual read and I enjoyed the pace. The book did not drag too much

Why didn't I like this book?1. No apparent reason for MMC's obsession with the FMC2. A pet peeve of mine..a virgin heroine. 99/100 books with a virgin heroine are a straight up red flag3. The FMC was supposed to be scared for her and her brother's lives. And she was. For the first two chapters. Then it's constant badgering about how attractive the MMC is.4. She didn't want to live under mafia rule then why was droning on and on about his rose tattoos and what not5. This is not mafialite. Its mafia-twilight. Exact same mary sue FMC who is overly self sacrificial and a little bit sassy constantly fawning over MMCJust dont bother with this one. I would have stayed for the sex scenes but I didn't get any

This is my first time reading something from this Author and I enjoyed it ! It’s not as dark or steamy as other mafia story’s I’ve read but it was definitely a 5 star !! The author introduced her characters and story line perfectly!! It was plain to see because you instantly loved Connor , I mean who doesn’t love those morally grey characters!! I look forward to reading the next in this series and others by Ms. Ramsower.

What a beautiful written story that captures your imagination and interesting characters that keep you riveted. It’s going to be an incredible series
