Foldable from it's compact form of 13cm x 34cm x 52 cm (bag dimensions) to its traditional cajon form of 29 cm x 30cm x 48 cm (cajon form), the Foldable Cajon by NovaPans really brings true portability to these rich bass/treble instruments. Inside the Bag: Consists of 4 panels; one ground slat with four rubber stoppers for ground stability, one top slat for covering the cajon, the main frame (which consists of three of the four remaining panels) and then the fourth and slimmest panel for the back (which consists of a smooth hole for resonance). All four panels piece together with the specially carved edges and sanded miniature wooden studs which when combined with the four long metal spin-handle screws, together create a very stabilised and fully-formed cajon (please see photos above). Ultimately, the foldable cajon is the perfect travel companion for jamming acoustic drum sounds wherever you go yet, without impairing your sound in any way. Better still, it even contains an adjustable snare section which is held within its core and is is reachable from the back hole. The snare piece allows for three separate modes between on, semi, and off (see 'Improvisation' video for demonstration).
