I saw advertisements for this and thought it would be fun make. It was very easy, no instructions included though so I looked up how long to soak the water beads. I soaked for 6 hours. Looks like the camera picked up the water beads, you can't see them in person. The advertisement shows using a floating candle. No candles here, I have a cat. I found a holiday bell decoration at Dollar Tree to use as a topper. I'm not sure if the water will get cloudy later but if it does I'll just pour this out in a strainer and redo. I have enough beads to do another vase. Vases are 3 1/2" round, 6" tall. There will be some beads leftover. Not enough to do another vase this size. Looks great.

This decor was a 'must have' for the 2022 holiday season. I jumped right on board and purchased the kit. I purchased floating candles and two clear towers vases separately. I allowed the gel beads to expand in water overnight, then got to building my towers. I rated three stars for two basic reasons: 1) I found that the ratio of gel beads was not adequate for the two vases described. In order to make the balls and candy canes stay down, I wound up having to use glass beads that I had around the house since all the gel beads were sold out. And 2) the peppermint candies DO NOT stay immersed no matter how many gel beads you use. They floated to the top and crowded the floating candle a bit. It was still a decorative display and with more gel beads, next year these will look even better.

These beads do NOT remain invisible. They are nearly invisible when first adding water. However, after a couple hours they start appearing as in the photo. They also continued to swell even after soaking for 6 hours. If I did not keep an eye on them, they would have overflowed onto my table. Disappointing. A great part of the appeal was that the decorations appeared suspended. Once the beads re-appear this is not the case.After removing some of the beads, rearranging, they were much better. See second photo. Instructions would be a definite plus. Great conversation piece at dinner. Enjoyed by all. Changing my rating to 3 stars due to lack of instructions.

Item was as discussed But the packaging was terrible. The bags were slit so the beads went everywhere. Lost half the beads. But I do like the product that was saved

After watching a video online I wanted to make Christmas candles. I looked for these everywhere and couldn’t find them! I found some items sold separately but were very expensive. I finally was able to find these all together and for a great price! They are good quality, brightly colored, reusable and exactly as described! Great purchase!

As advertised and they turned out lovely.cant wait to re-use next year!
