A fun medium-weight strategy game with an interesting twist
This a clever and enjoyable Euro-style strategy game, with an interesting twist: the winner is the player who spends all their money the first and - preferably - gets into the most debt! It plays best with 4 or 5 players, though you can play with 2 or 3. The age on the box says 13+, which is probably about right, although there are doubtless some 11 & 12 year-olds who'd love it. First play probably takes around 90 minutes or so, bu5t when all players are familiar with the game I dare say it could be done in an hour. There's not much luck involved - so be prepared to use your brain.I love this game, and recommend it to people who like medium-weight strategy games. Not for the party game crowd, though, and possibly too light for the Agricola/Terra Mystica devotees.

Brilliant game
This is a brilliant game, lots of little bits to remember but a lot of fun when you get into it. The game arrived in perfect condition and very quickly too. We love it!

Very fun little game
The game is a lot of fun but I also do feel like once you have played it a couple of times it isn't the most replayable. But definitely a fun game to play and very quirky.

Not so great as Alchemists but still brilliant
Not so great as Alchemists but still brilliant, a lot of fun to play this. Take your horse to the theatre :D . If I were you I would go for Alchemists though :)

Deceptively complex (and beautiful) worker placement strategy game
The basic concept of Last Will is simple -- spend all your money and go bankrupt before the other players. There are a variety of ways to do this. You could buy a bunch of properties, let them depreciate and sell them for next-to-nothing.Or you could go to "gentlemen's clubs" with your drinking buddy and make it rain.Or maybe you'd like to spend all your money on that certain lady friend (yes, this game assumes you are a straight male). But, in order to do it, you might need the help of your errand boys. And you'll need options and time to carry them out.So each round, you'll take turns with the other players to choose a slot that gives you a certain number of actions, lets you draw a certain number of cards, and lets you send out one or two errand boys to get another card or manipulate something in the game for you. Each turn forces you to prioritize what you need to do, decide how badly you want something that is out on the board, and pick a strategy for growing broke. The artwork is simply gorgeous and the theme (though sexist) is really fun.The gameplay is also way more complex than the description makes it sound, so it isn't for family game night or a party unless your family and/or friends are fairly serious gamers or willing to take the time to learn. (Not to mention that the theme may not be appropriate for youngsters).Anyway, after playing this the first time, I had to have it. It's super fun and a bargain at the price.

Variety to Victory
This was a Christmas present and I can say hands-down, this game is such a delight. I love the theme and I love the concept. One of the great things about this game is the variety of strategies you can use to win. Some games suffer from having really only one path to victory, but Last Will has several directions you can go, so you can mix it up (either out of choice or necessity depending on the strategy your opponent has chosen).I haven't been able to play with a larger group yet, but I look forward to checking the dynamics.

Great game, a bit difficult to learn, but once you play it a few times it's really fun
While it seemed daunting at the beginning with so many pieces, card decks and rules, once you play it a couple times it starts to be really fun, and doesn't seem as difficult anymore.
