Gotrovo Indoor/Outdoor Family Treasure Hunt Game with Riddle Expansion Pack

Really enjoy this game it’s a good rainy day activity as long as you can keep the kids occupied whilst you lay out the trail of clues. Really like that there are blank cards for you to add your own clues and a mixture of simple riddles or pictures so my 4 year old boy and girl twins can do the trail over and over with different clues. Wish it came with 2 separate maps so you could have each team using a map as they go rather than the map being double sided as it is. The treasure box is big enough for you to put different “treasure” in. At the moment we use chocolate gold coins or a mini toy figure.

Nice game, but the instructions are vague. It’s very easy to play, though. Leave a clue on the map pointing to a location, and in that place leave a coin and the clue to the next location. The kids collect the clues and stick them on the thick, laminated, double-sided map, until they get to the gold bar, which is a pretty cardboad box that looks like a bar of gold bullion. Plenty of felt stickers, loads of clue card with pictures or riddles, to suit kids of any age, and nice red silk bag for the coins. I bought the extra deck of cards as well. If it hadn’t been for the instructions making me waste my time, I would have given it 5 stars.

Bought as a present for 5 yo grandson so I have not played it, first impression on opening the box was a little disappointed, for a start a hard foldling board would be better than the flimsy plastic sheet provided hence we never got beyond putting it under a pile of books to flatten it...not a good start; Of course I cannot rule out being told eventally that it is a great favourite especially when grandson a bit older but i won't be holding my breath

I already had the mini version of this game and was so impressed that I bought the bumper edition too. I particularly liked the idea of having clues specifically related to Easter and Christmas and have not been disappointed. A wonderful game for children to either work out clues together or singly.

We have this game at home, and it is sure to become a family favourite. Bought it for my 3 year old niece as a birthday present, and she & her parents love it too! It is a really good, active game to play - perfect for those rainy days when the kids have too much energy for puzzles & board games. Has amazing longevity too - my 2 year old enjoys it, and I'd imagine kids up to 10 would still enjoy it using the riddle cards included. The only thing I'd say is that both my kids & my niece enjoy long hunts, so we run out of gold coins too soon. Would be perfect if 20+ coins were included, rather than the 10.All in all a great family game, would recommend, so versatile - even grown up aunties etc like joining in with the kids when they come round!!

Expensive for what it is but saves me from thinking up clues for parties. Lovely shiny golden treasure box with enough space for a little treat and the lovely looking gold plastic coins.

I recently purchased this pack after reading other positive reviews on the game. It was mainly for my grandchildren aged 5 and 8 and they absolutely love it. The different levels of clues suit both ages and even older as my nephew who is 10 also joined in and really enjoyed. It can be played inside and outside and adapted to suit any occasion and I am looking forward to doing the treasure hunt at Easter for the children. I am very pleased with my purchase.
