It has petroleum in it but is better than Vaseline as it has cotton seed oil in it

No indication on tin. Ingredients are listed as essential oil (Aromol), cottonseed oil in a special petrolatum base. Hope this helps.

Does this smell like rose water? Turkish delight?

Hi There, Thank you for your question. Smith's Rosebud Salve has a light rose scent which is not over bearing. I personally find it quite nice and uplifting. I don't think it is too much like Turkish delight ie over sweet. If you wanted something a little different we also have the Mocha Rose and the Strawberry Rose versions available in tubes. I would say the Strawberry Rose would be the sweetest smelling yet it is still not over powering. I hope that helps. Best Regards, Rebecca

BEST LIP BALM EVER.

This is AMAZING!! I have been struggling with really dry lips now for months. I am one of those people who always have lip balm on so i diddn't understand why my lips felt aweful...I had got EOS lip balms and i loved them but did they help my lips at all? Nope. Anyway to get to the point i got this product and omg i have never been so happy. Honestly this will make your lips look and feel beautiful. Its a gorgeous smell, texture and bigger than i expected! So worth the money trust me! Beyond happy. It's also great for any dryness anywere it's just amazing. Dont bother looking any further just get this!!!!!

Great lip salve!

Love this lip salve so much! Has a very subtle tint of rosy-pink to it and feels smooth and lovely on the lips. It feels like its protecting my lips well from the British weather and when applied it stays on the lips for at least half of the day.This single pot of salve has lasted me a good three months so far and is still going (I have just over half a pot left), and I use it practically everyday! Also arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I will likely buy this product again when it runs out! Would definitely recommend this product.

The best lip balm on the market

I found it through my skin guru and indeed it actually does the work and it is valid for three years since opening. You will not find a better option than this. Feels amazing on the lips and has a soft elegant scent, not too overpowering.

Shame!

This lip salve was not stored properly from the seller, as the lip salve was all melted and had come out of the tin, and now isn’t fit for use. Very expensive lip salve and I’m unable to return or get a replacement

Best for lip and skin care

I have used Smith's Rosebud Salve daily for years now and wouldn't go to anything else. Its very light rose scent is calming and it moisturizes without heaviness or stickiness like more waxy lip balms tend to do. I have even used it to help heal scratches or fade scars. One pot lasts a looong time too. Worth every penny.
