1Kg D.O. Bomba Paella Rice - Arroz Santo Tomas

I did think that this was a little expensive compared to £1.99 for paella rice in the supermarket, but I have to say it was worth it this time.I think most online Spanish shops charge around £10 so I’m guessing this is standard?I’ve cooked paella a few times and never has it turned out this well. It wasn’t wet and sticky and had a good flavour if cooked correctly.I like the packaging too, no plastic, so can be reused for something.Would definitely buy again for a special occasion.

does what a good quality Bomba rice does and at a reasonable price. Superb Paella rice.

I read in one of my cookbooks that this is by far and away one of the best varieties of rice to use for Paella. It gave fantastic results and well worth the extra pennies - it works out at under 50p per portion - well worth keeping in the store cupboard - I wouldn't use any other in future

I used this rice for a paella. I used quantity of water recommended, but the rice was a bit too ‘wet’. A bit disappointing, but as a “Paella” enthusiast, I am expecting the next one to be perfect!

This Rice produced a wonderful Paella which wasn't sticky and absorbed the wonderful flavours of the seafood and stock that I used. Best Paella I have ever made. I'll only use Bomba from now on.

Amazing.. Authentic and perfect.. yes you're paying a premium price for the rice, but the level of detail and authentic nature as well as how this cooks is more than worth paying a few more quid. I was blown away at the end result and my guests loved the end result. Purchased another sack the same day to keep ready for next time.

Seems like an expensive way to buy rice, but my Spanish chef friend uses this and it was well worth it.
