Also u can build them into towers as Lego fixes to each corner on the underneath of the board. We blue tacked them to an ikea coffee table they are perfect and stay in place you could silicone them on but my son likes to make different patterns with his.

This is a great product. The base plates are fully compatible with Lego and have a firm grip (clutch) as you would want. As they are slightly thicker than Lego baseplates so there is less flex so much better for moving around if you have a building or something built on it. Many a time my son has picked up something on a Lego baseplates and it has flexed and fallen off so this hopefully is a thing of the past. Another advantage is that bricks will stick to the underside so you also use these for roofing on large structures which isn’t possible with Lego baseplates. They are well made and appear to be durable. Finally they are excellent value compared to the silly price for Lego baseplates.

Works well with my son’s blocks. Large area and solid material. Easy to attach and detach blocks. Holds it strong. Happy for this purchase!

If you want to give your kids (or big kids) a nice stable platform to build on with their Lego or other building bricks these are the plates to go for. They come in a four pack (Blue, Tan, Green and Grey) As you can see by my photos they work with Lego and also non Lego bricks. The studs are identical and you can even join up official plates with non official plates. The brick connect well and there is a snug fit to them. These can be used for display or just for fun. My kids have used them to zone their Lego mario kits so that each one feel like a level.I have always felt that the lego plats are a little thin and crack too easilyI paid under £15 for these and for what you get they are very good value. So in summary- Great value- Nice size- Work with Lego and other brands- Very sturdy- Great for displaying or for fun.I would 100% recommend this for use with lego or other brands of bricks

They are very sturdy and seem to be very good quality, and importantly, are nice and thick. Excellent value for money compared to the official products. I was cautious about buying a non-LEGO branded product, but given the high price of baseboards I was tempted to look for alternatives - and these are great. We've only had them for a couple of days, but they've seen loads of use by the adults and kids in our house already, they are a good build quality, nice and thick and the engineering is precise - fitting with our LEGO bricks perfectly.

Like many others I checked out the reviews before buying this set. Price wise - really good when compared to official lego bases.But I wish I had listened to the lower starred reviewers more.Official lego sets DO NOT stick well to these bases. I have a lot of the Harry Potter sets and wanted to sort them onto large bases but they keep "pinging off". Its really annoying.At first glance it looks like they measure up, but if you try to place any flat parts they do not line up exactly, hence one end not fixed on. Also any 45 degree angled pieces will not fit either (HP Sets have a lot of these). Small pieces and figures fit perfectly though.

I bought these for my son after reading reviews, that these base plates worked as well as the real Lego baseplates. A brilliant price, 4 colours, and they do work perfectly with Lego bricks. So pleased with these, compared to the actual Lego baseplates.
