Four Square Media 50 X Single Slimline DVD Clear Case 7mm Spine - Pack of 50

Anyone who has a big library of DVDs will appreciate the opportunity to reduce the shelf space they take up by investing in these slimline DVD cases from Four Square Media. I have had various brands of slimline cases and it has to be said they are often a bit flimsy, but these are high quality. The spines are strong enough to resist splitting and the cases close with a satisfying snap. The spindles are sturdy and I've never yet encountered one which has broken. Another common problem is where the clear plastic cover under which you slip the inlay will have started to tear, but not so with this brand. You need to fold in a narrow strip of the inlay to get it to fit in a narrower case, but if the inlay is one of those with a menu or chapter list on the reverse, these clear cases still allow you to read it. I highly recommend these cases and will be returning for more when I need them. Delivery is also in a sturdy box and very quick.

Maybe it's just me, but it took me a while to figure out that they fasten with two very tiny catches near the ends. I kept trying to fasten them with what looked to me like catches! There are three of these latter, but then I realised they are to slot cards or descriptions into.Then I was ok with them - they are good quality and it's good that you can leave them without cards and you can see the discs through them.Note the spines aren't thick enough to slot a label through.

These slim-line DVD cases provided by Four Square Media are remarkable value at £13 for fifty, and are sturdy, made in good quality plastic with good closing clips and are ideal for those who have little space and need to down-size the normal, unnecessarily wide, DVD cases. Excellent delivery time, too, so a highly recommended product...

This is a first class product and just what I wanted, from Four Square Media.I buy quite a few dvdrs from ebay sellers which arrive in paper sleeves so transferring them intothese slimline cases makes for much better and safer storage.

I wanted to put only 1 star for these to stop them selling out!This is the 3rd time I've bought these.For the price these are excellent value and great quality.

I wonder if the other reviewers received the same product that I did. The cases sent to me match the picture but are not of very high quality. The plastic of the main case is too flexible and the case is a bit tricky to open and close. 3 stars is about right, never 5.It is entirely my fault however that the product is not what I wanted anyway. The vendors description is clear enough. What I was looking for, was the kind of solid, almost square jewel case that Tesco seem to have stopped selling. These are the shape of commercial Blu-ray cases without the solidity. I will not be returning them however. While they are not much use to put in a rack in the lounge where they may be taken out and played frequently, they are OK for storing back-up discs you keep in a quiet corner somewhere. So I will move 50 such discs into these cases, freeing up 50 proper jewel cases for future use.
