Great light
I’ll start off the pros: lots of light level options and features; ability to turn light up and down, USB-C charging with great battery life. I’ve gone 2-3 weeks without charging it but I was using the lowest light setting. The brightest light setting is comparable to the Milwaukee’s.The light head itself is a little big but it’s light. I also use it with a hard hat so I can say I experienced any discomfort but the straps were nice and they were adjustable.Overall easy to use as there were some videos online. Basically set by clicking the button or holding.Main concern is that the charging port cover is hard to put back in and I’m not sure about weather proofness

Great Rechargeable Headlamp for Close up and Far Away
Overall great headlamp so far. I have been using it for working on cars and being able to cycle between low, medium and high is really useful. The built in charging works well, but it is also nice being able to remove the battery and swap it out. The light is super bright, it has a hotspot in the middle which is good for seeing far away, but it is also foody which helps brighten up things up close. The light is plenty bright for reaching the tops of trees far away or looking at the ground close up/lighting up the underside of a vehicle. By far my favorite headlamp so far.*Cliff Notes*Charging: Charging works really well it uses a USB-C port or you can switch out the battery for another 18650 for a quick battery swap.Brightness: 2000 Lumens is really bright, and it also allows you to cycle down to low and medium when you don't need full brightness. The light has a throwy hotspot which makes it useful for far away, but it also has a floody glow that makes it useful up close. Overall great for night hikes, biking, and working on cars. Conclusion: Much brighter than store brand lights with great run time perfect for a headlamp or a right angle flashlight. UI is simple enough anyone can use it. Would make a great gift for anyone.

It's heavy. It's powerful
It definitely does its job. It's a little on the heavy side, and that was a factor last week when I did a 6 day, wilderness pack boat trip. I wish the detach/reattach/adjustment system was a little nicer. It's just strong, rubber webbing that you have to slide over the cylindrical shaped light. It's very tight so attaching and roving aren't all that fast and easy. When you twist it to aim higher or lower it tends to grip the rubber and twist it rather than just moving within z if that makes sense.Minor issues really. It's a great light. I'd buy againoat likely.

Rugged
Great brightness options, battery life great. When wearing, it stays at the angle you point it, yet easy to change angle. I personally don't like the charging port exposed to the elements, but the rubber plug hasn't allowed any water or dirt behind it, yet. I keep one on the drivers headrest, super handy and out of the way.At the gas station I used it and for convenients I stuck the magnetic end on the Jeep while finishing to refuel and get a drink. At the end of the on ramp for the interstate (traveling 70 mph) I hear a strange clunk and quickly realize it's the light, I observe it bouncing down the highway in my side mirror. Afraid someone would run over it, I hike back to retrieve it. It's scratched and nicked pretty bad. The lens is unbroken and it still works flawlessly to this day ... this treatment not recommended for your light!

Great headlamp
I use this for caving and camping. It's amazing, great battery life, and the Type-C charging port makes it super convenient to recharge.

HS40 Should not be advertised as a Headlamp
Got the HS40 primarily for some work under the car working on my back. This headlamp was supposed to supplement a floor LED worklight to look up towards the engine internals, which required a short focused beam of light. Big mistake picking this up. HS40 is basically a hand held or clip-on flashlight and not a headlamp. Main issues when attempting to use it as a headlamp:1. This is held in the harness by two pieces of thick rubber. Once mounted on the head, it is almost impossible to swivel unless you move your head. The rubber prevents the flashlight from moving and there is no other mechanism for swiveling it. Now add the complexity of doing this with greased/oil soaked hands/gloves and its a no-go. The tighter the space, the harder it is to manouver2. The beam on this flash light is too wide even on the lowest setting. Creates dark spots when trying to light up and focus on narrow passages.3. Gets very very hot in Turbo mode. Not warm but very hot.4. The side with the LED turns and if you are not too careful, unscrews from the body. When initially mounted, we turned it thinking that was how the angle would be adjusted. Since it turns freely with no tactile indicator as to stop turning it, the part came off the flashlightIf this is meant to be used as a handheld flashlight then it is probably fine other than it getting extremely hot but then it is much more expensive for a 18650 flashlight.I would not consider this if using it as a headlamp. An item most people should have!
I recently purchased 2 of these headlamps that have a USB Type C rechargeable battery and are incredibly lightweight. I was amazed at the max light output of 2000 lumens, which quickly illuminated my entire campsite. I was also happy to find that it was water-resistant, so I could use it even in the rain without worrying about it getting damaged.I can't tell you how excited I am about this headlamp. It's rechargeable, so it's much more convenient than juggling various batteries for camping trips that take up precious space. You can tell that it's a quality built item when you have it in your hand.Overall, I'm thrilled with this headlamp. It's been an invaluable tool on my camping trips, and I look forward to using it for years. I highly recommend it!

VERY VERY BRIGHT
These like other sofrin products work great. Use it all day. I do have a 8 pack of 18650 I keep on my tool bag as I run this on hi when using it. Good flood beam and holds its brightness very well without thermal down to useless light output like some other lights
