This doesn’t stretch at all, it isn’t one of those elasticated ones so that is why I have marked it as a one star for stretch, I didn’t purchase this however thinking it was stretchy. My cat Milo loved it but unfortunately broke it within an hour. The toy came away from the plastic stick. I bought two however as Milo bought it as a gift for his cousin (lol) and Meeko’s is holding up well which is why I have marked the overall review has three stars. Milo still likes the toy without the stick but obviously wasn’t designed this way and quite disappointed it didn’t last long. Maybe ours was faulty. Another complaint it that it was shipped in an extremely large box with lots of paper for what was only a long but very lightweight and non bulky item.
