Well made
It's well made, durable, and sturdy, with a nice design that adds to the overall impression of elegance. They stand out very well on my white-coloured door.It was easy to swap out; I just needed to cut the spindle bar, which was a bit long for my door. If you're installing this on a new door, you need to bore a 1-inch hole for the latch(not supplied), so you'll have to do some extra work. The handle is nice and curvy—very comfortable to grasp. The quality of the screw used to attach the handle to the door was a bit poor, though. I had to replace mine with better screws because the head of the screw didn't hold up well.Overall, I'm pleased with this black handle!I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

Excellent Quality Internal Door Handles
We ordered these 'XFORT Smithy's Range' door handles to match a locking door handle set from the same company, and just as our previous order, the handles look absolutely stunning when fitted. The overall quality really stands out, the cast iron handles are not what anyone would call lightweight, and the black powder coating finish certainly appears to be very durable. Once again, we were actually surprised to see that these handles are only being advertised for internal doors, because they certainly seem heavy duty enough to withstand adverse weather conditions on outer doors. A price of £16.99 is really good value for money, and well worth the investment for great looking door handles, which will probably last a lifetime (on internal doors).

Heavy handle, looks great
I love this handle, I think it looks so much more classy than my old brass one that the colour was wearing off of. This one is very rustic looking and looks great against my white door.It took hubby about half an hour to fit this, including the time it took to saw down the barrel thing that goes through the door as it was too long. He said it was easy to do with an angle grinder. There is also a handle that comes with the hinges and the catch thing that sticks out of the side of the door, so if you need those bits too then check out this company's other listings; their handles are very strong, heavy and sturdy.

Well made, traditional-look handles
These are quite nice. They’re traditional-style handles with built on back plates. The black finish is thickly applied, and has been put on all over – you don’t turn these over and find silver metal on the back of the plates. The black coating has a slight sheen to it, and does not show fingerprint marks. We have a wrought iron banister, and these are a perfect match. The surfaces of both handles and back plates are textured – with appreciably more texturing on the back plates. The handles are only lightly dimpled, but the back plates have a deep, almost hammered effect all over.

Looks fantastic
Firstly, if you do not have a way to cut the spindle bar to size, do not buy these. I have rather thick doors and I still had to trim the spindle bar.Apart from having to cut the bar to size, installing the lever range is fairly straightforward. These handles are gorgeous and old rustic style cast iron. They look fantastic. They are of excellent quality and I am very happy with them.
