I didn’t order that I ordered the stand.I ordered this as I do some crafting streaming recently and was trying to find a better way.The product itself seems very sturdy however it doesn’t come with instructions so it can’t be used to it’s full potential!I have extra parts with no idea where they go. As a result of this I will be returning

I've been using this pistol grip with a Canon 80D for the past week and it's been great. It comes with a mount for a Go Pro or action camera already attached but to attach it to a DSLR all I had to do was remove this and screw it onto my camera.It makes it easier to steady some handheld footage taken with the device and for under £10 it's a must have in your backpack if you plan on recording some video whilst on the go. The handle is very comfortable and because of the angle, it takes a lot of weight from the camera and helps balance it better, meaning that there is less stress on your hand and arm whilst recording.It does come with a safety strap to put around your wrist but if you're using a DSLR, I recommend keeping the DSLR strap around your neck. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the small strap on the grip but at the end of the day, I am more comfortable trusting the original neck strap than I am the thin string used on the pistol grip. Overall, great accessory for the price and very handy to have.

I am so pleased with this latest addition to my accessories, it is already makinglife a lot easier when I am shooting video or still pictures. I have a go-pro typeof sports camera also fuji pinepix camera, I can use both with this pistolgrip, it has an attached strap to attach to your wrist so is more secure from accidentaldropping. The grip is comfortable to use holds your camera firmly, giving one handedoperation, is versatile as it can be used to attach a video light to help when light-fillingin your shooting.I think this super cool pistol meets my needs perfectly, I can do my shooting holding thecamera in one hand and avoid taking a picture of my finger top which I have a bad habitof doing.All in all this is a brilliant product which allows me to hold the camera steady, enablingme to take better pics and video especially when on long walks. At this price you can'tgo wrong and now I have used it I would't be without it, highly recommended.

REALLY GLAD THAT I BOUGHT THIS , I HAD SEEN SOMEONE USING SOMETHING SIMILAR IN AMERICA AND I ALSO VIEWED OTHER SIMILAR PRODUCTS BUT "THIS IS THE ONE" - BEAUTIFULLY MADE, SIMPLE TO USE [EVEN FITS IN YOUR POCKET WHEN NOT NEEDED] AND IT WORKS!. I USE A CANON 35MM G7X WHEN SHOOTING MOVIES AND THE RESULTS ARE SUPERB AFTER THE TERRIBLE RESULTS OBTAINED WHEN HOLDING THE CAMERA WITH TWO HANDS - LIKE WHEN TAKING STILL 35MM SHOTS - NOW I CAN WALK, MOVE THE CAMERA SIDE TO SIDE AND THE PICTURE IS STABLE. WITH A WRIST STRAP ON THE UNIT AND ONE ON THE CAMERA IT IS EASY TO FEEL CONFIDENT WHEN USING ALSO EASY TO CARRY FROM VENUE TO VENUE. IF YOU ARE USING A MOBILE PHONE THIS IS STILL A GOOD BUY BUT YOU WILL NEED AN ADAPTER WHICH I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY SELLS. ALL IN ALL A FIRST CLASS PRODUCT FOR VERY LITTLE MONEY - I COULD NOT BE MORE SATISFIED.

Initially I was concerned as to what quality the grip would be considering the price but rhe grip is a high quality plastic finished with a soft rubber texture. The only flaw I could find is the thumb nut with which you screw the 1/4 20" screw into the camera feels cheap so I would recommend using a QR plate so you don't have to twist it on and off constantly. That said I have no reason to expect that it would fail without a QR plate

I needed something to make my videos on my mirror-less camera and go pro a lot more smoother and I just couldn’t afford a stabilizer so I opted for this cheaper option. The build quality of the grip is very high quality and it does an awesome job. You have much more control of your filming. There is an action camera grip included which costs £2 to buy on its own so definitely a great bargain. The grip has a strap at the bottom which is detachable giving it some safety measure. The weight of the of the grip is light so it doesn’t add much weight when the camera is sitting on top.

It Works, though not had much use for it yet - I think it wil be great to hold, Speedlights, External Mic, Go Pro... anything really - happy ive got it as I know it will come in handy

This product is a must for long lenses. Have used it for the first time to cover a rugby match, made life so easy when camera hand held. Attached the grip to the ring base on the long lens, just makes holding the camera so much more comfortable. If you don't have one, get one now! And that's from someone who has only used it once so far. The camera pistol grip will now be a fixed part of my camera bag. Wish I had bought this sooner.
