Not sure. But used it for 2 months everyday, sometimes twice a day. Never touched my dark spots. Don't waste your money. Would not buy again.

I would say the entire face. With skin lightening products if you apply to just the spots, you can end up with halos - white rings around the spots because let's face it, we can't perfectly apply to only the spots. Products migrate, etc. It has benefits for your whole face, anyway, so no reason not to use all over. Think of it as any other beneficial skincare product. You want that goodness all over. And with this one you have the added benefit of it possibly minimizing that discoloration. Keep in mind that any, ANY, product you use to suppress pigment will stop working when you stop using it. Melasma/hyperpigmentation is never really removed, just suppressed or hidden by constant maintenance and product usage. And don't even think about lasers, no matter what any professional says!

I agree. I can’t use it at nighttime. The smell made it difficult to sleep.

Started out going light on using this product. Wanted to see if my skin reacted to it. Never caused any burns or pain. I did used all over my face not just on age spots. Didn't notice any change one way or another.
