Lavalier Lapel Microphone Omnidirectional Condenser Mic with Flexible Mini Octopus Tripod ?-

I use this mic to record my voice on my mobile phone. After a couple of months of using it, it stop recording and I noticed that if I pulled slowly out the connector to the mic jack on the phone, it worked. For a moment I thought the mic jack of my phone was not working properly, but I tried a different mic and it worked so what stopped working was the mic connector. Unfortunately even if I pulled out the connector a lil bit, the quality of the recording was not the best any more.If you want a mic for a couple uses, this is cheap and will do the job, but if you plan on using the mic a few times per week, my experienced will say this will breakafter a couple of months.

I bought this microphone because I was wanting to record my car's exhaust (I'm sad I know). The car isn't too loud, a sporty MINI but even with the microphone about a foot from the exhaust it still maxed out the mic. However using it for a voice or other similar volumes would be fine - and it has a nice, long cable and clip.

There’s plenty included in the box for the price. Our old mic was temperamental, cuts out here and there. This new lapel mic is a good replacement. Have had no issues with smartphones/tablets recognising it and sound quality is as good as it gets with this price range.Didn’t work with our camcorder but we’ve had Rode hotshoe mics not working/compatible with it in the past. Nothing to do with the mic itself, rather the camcorder/manufacturer. I’d recommend contacting the seller if you want to use with anything other than smartphones/tablets/computers.Mic clips well on to shirt. There’s little static noise, it also does a good job in keeping out background noise.Bonuses in the box include a mic clip, 3.5mm extension cable, tripod and phone holder. All for under £20!

This is an ideal little studio if you like.You have the flexible tripod for wrapping around virtually anything, the head adaptor to mount your phone on and the tie clip mic with an extension lead.Practical uses are an external mic for video recording or just a mic for taking dictation.Either way, its a great little set that enables you to create simple or more adventurous recordings pretty much anywhere you like.The quality of the tripod and mic are excellent - voice pickup is good and there is little in the way of popping - and the whole package represents great value for money.It comes in a strong cardboard box that it easily fits back into also.Great item.

Fantastic set, which is perfect for my Son's YouTube vlogs :)Included in the set, is: a flexible (but sturdy) octopus tripod, which allows you to position or attach to pretty much anything; a phone holder, which attaches to the tripod meaning that you can use either a phone or a camera; and, a lapel microphone (with an extension cable), which is great for clearer audio recording :) I have attached some photos showing the set in clearer detail - as you will see, the microphone is very inconspicuous yet incredibly effective!It was all very easy to setup and use - even for a technophobe like me!!! Good value for the money, and will certainly get a lot of use!!

Love the mic and extension cable, the tripod is a little unsteady, needs to to supported, but for the money - great value

The product works really well. Really clear sound quality on recordings. Plenty of cable for long distance recording without quality loss.

I've had a bad experience with this. The little lapel clip broke straight away. The jaw bit is still strong.The sound is poor because it suffers from interference. I did a test with 2 other mics and my phone and this was the worst.I'd think it was a 2 or 3 pound mic and not 20.
