Black Pair of Pillowcases 100% Egyptian Cotton 200 Thread Counts, Pillow Cases 2 Pack

This was described as 200 thread count Egyptian Cotton but it's missing the texture and softness typical of this kind of fabric and of similar products I already own.Even after the first wash the fabric was still hard.I guess for the price this was to be expected but the description is still totally misleading, bordering on the dishonest.On the positive, the pillowcases are of a good size and the fabric seems solid (just doesn't feel like cotton); the item was processed fast and delivered quickly.

Compared to my other Egyptian cotton pillow cases these are not soft at all. For the price, they are a good pair of cheapish pillow cases and delivery was on the same day but I highly doubt they are Egyptian cotton which is what I paid for. I’ve washed them now in the hope of making them softer so I can’t send them back but I won’t be ordering any more.

Two washes and out of shape already. Stiff as cardboard and crunchy. Don't feel soft at all. So constantly dreaming my face is just about to be smothered by a piece of aluminium foil.

The material of these pillow cases is okay, could be softer. I washed them before using and they’re still slightly scratchy, but I figure after a few washes they’ll go softer. Colour is very pigmented, not a washed out black colour, it’s very vibrantly black. Happy with my purchase overall!

so i bought these to go with a 100% cotton bedding set. i was expecting the Egyptian to be softer but i found it a bit more stiffer now this might be down to the thread count on it. i am now around 10 washes in and it feels nice and keeping it shape. i have had no issue with these sheets.

The inner sleeve is only about 10cm or less and can't keep the plump microfiber pillows I bought in properly. Won't do for anything more than a flat pillow. The fabric is not very soft. The colour started fading after a few washes...

Does the job. Have been using these for a good few months now as the missus decided to get a second set of pillows. No major complaints other than they are not as soft as I would expect for how they are advertised; However as they are a fiver for the pair I can't really fault them. Perfectly adequate for a second set of pillows of for a guest bed, but I'd recommend spending a bit more for your main set.
