My parents had one of these and I loved the deeper sound.Took me awhile to find one online I thought I might like that was simple. This one is perfect, the bamboo and color are gorgeous.

I bought my mother this bamboo wind chime for a Mother's Day gift. When I received it, it was packaged nicely. I didn't want to open it and get it tangled. I wanted her to open it and be surprised since she's been dying to have one. Well, it was very beautiful upon opening. Sounds lovely, and is a great size. Just what she wanted! But I must say, I immediately noticed the flaw in it and felt bad. The coconut shell was a little cracked on top. It had a small hole in it. She said it was okay, and she'd just patch it up and seal it. I felt bad that she has to do that. Other than that, we really did like it.

I hung this outside on a large oak tree right outside our window and we enjoy the calming sound it makes --- that is when the wind actually blows hard enough to get it going. For example, when the winds are gusting during a storm etc. it is nice to lay in bed and hear the gentle sound of the chime. I feel that unlike the metallic wind chimes this takes quite a bit more wind in order for you to hear it, which is why I am only giving it four stars. However, I will say that I have had it hung up in a tree for several months now and it has made it through many downpours, so this chime is very well made.

The wood chime worked well for about 6 months and now cracked and not putting out the beautiful noise it had,I keep it under my patio cover in the shade,need to put some type of sealer to preserve longevity. wish I could get my money back,or a replacement.

I have two of these in two different sizes and I love them. They're been up since March and they're very sturdy. We've had some rough winds this summer too. They sound great and I think I'll get more next year. Highly recommend!

I bought this as a gift for my mother, she wanted a wind chime but not something loud and bothersome.This was perfect! The wood design is beautiful and naturalistic, sometimes keeping things simple goes a long way!As for the sound it was perfect, exactly what she was looking for. Something that was relaxing, soothing and peaceful. It can be heard on her porch, but it’s not loud enough to tick off the neighbours if it’s a really windy night.We noticed the Center string did seem a bit too long so my mom knotted the line to shorten it, but other than that it made for a fantastic gift.

I am so happy with these chimes! After I received the package at my door, I immediately took them out to see what they sounded like.What a cheery, wooden tone! I have a weakness for bamboo chimes anyway but the cheery woody tone of these can't help but make your heart smile! They're not "high pitched". They still have that beautiful tone that bamboo chimes are known for ... but the cheeriness in the sound is delightful!I placed my order on Tuesday of last week and they arrived on Wednesday of this week ... and there was the extra long Easter holiday weekend in there too so I'm super happy with the speedy delivery!Would definitely order these again as a wonderful gift for friends and family ... or even another for myself. ;)

This is the second bamboo style wind chime I purchased from this company. They look and sound great, but they will not last you a full summer even. The strings that hold it all together break. Both of mine I didn't get 2-3 months out of them before they started dropping 1 piece a week. Unless you plan to be home 24/7 and literally take down your wind chime everytime there is rain or a decent wind, stay away from this cheaply made junk. Other reviewers must be bots or have reviewed this straight outta the box without considering the longevity; which is none.

The bamboo is very sharp where the twine/string passes through the fluted dangly bits and keeps cutting the chord. Replaced a few times already. It is sitting on my shop desk now waiting for another repair. I would suggest replacing the cordage and putting wire through the sharp bits to tie new cord to.

Bought as mother's day gift. Didn't expect much for $30, and the negative reviews had me a little worried. Turns out these chimes are actually extremely beautiful and the sound they make is so so peaceful. My mother ended up loving it too!
