We have high winds in our area and my old stand was just not cutting it. It would fall over even with the slighest wind. I shopped around and eventually decided on this one. Well, its great I filled it water making it heavy, but easy wheeled around with the lock in wheels. We have had some high winds and it stands up to the stongest. I highlly recommend it.

Awesome! Work great. The wheels are sturdy and lock and unlock easily. They stay in place and they are easy to move when needed! Perfect!

I am not a reviewer .. but this base deserves my time. It is wonderful , I have had many umbrellas with self standing ability bases. This is it !!! Not too big , easy setup , I used a bag of sand and then added water, solid. The wheels … work well.Doesn’t move with or without locking, however extremely easy to lock. I’m done … this is what you are looking for.

FINALLY, a great rolling umbrella base that can keep my big deck umbrellas from blowing over. These are super convenient, easily roll around to wherever I want on my deck, and they hold my big umbrellas tight. I got one and it was so good I bought another. Easily fill with water. My only gripe is that some of the hardware rusts faster than expected. Otherwise it'd be 5 stars. Maybe I'll spray them with ruse-preventing paint this spring.

I like the roller style. Easy to move around. However, material is not a durable as I thought it would be. So instead of water, I filled my three stands with play sand. Worked great. I would buy this product again, durability notwithstanding.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to get an umbrella stand for my old umbrella and really liked the idea of having a movable stand that I could put anywhere I need it. My old umbrella ended up too heavy for it. I bought one that was recommended on Amazon. The new umbrella doesn’t fit the stand too well either. When open it topples over if it’s windy. It’s fine when there’s no wind. I filled the stand with water. You can fill it with sand. I’m going to try to add more water to it. Maybe it will become sturdier. Assembly was very easy.New information: just wanted to share, the umbrella stand was not sturdy when filled with water. I also think it somehow evaporated from it. It was much lighter when I was emptying it. Emptying it was not easy. The way the opening is made, you can’t really dump all water out of it. So, regardless, I filled it with sand. As you’ll see it in the video, it was a painful process. The opening was so small, I could only put in a tiny amount of sand inside! It took me around 2 hours to fill it! And the opening is on the side of the stand. You might think it’s would be more logical to have the opening on the top of the stand and bigger. Major design flow. It got sturdier after filling it out with sand. I’m changing my rating to 1 star bc of major design flaws. Would not buy it if id known of those!

They are fantastic! Moving the umbrella stand around my patio is effortless, even when the base is fully loaded. This level of mobility is something I've not experienced with other models.Comparison with Competitors:Having purchased two umbrella bases from an Amazon competitor in the past, I thought they were satisfactory. However, after using this model, I realize what I’ve been missing out on. The convenience and ease of use this base offers are unmatched, making it a superior choice.Overall Impression:Despite the slightly awkward filling process, this umbrella base has proven to be reliable, sturdy, and incredibly easy to maneuver.
