Great for pancakes and Chapatis
This is a very well-made and sturdy pan. It doesn't rock on the hob like some pans might and it doesn't bend during cooking. I am completely confident this pan will never become out of shape after a few uses like some other cheaper makes. This pan is completely flat, so you don't have any problems with sloping sides and liquids collecting in the middle, rather than being spread evenly. If anything sticks while I'm in the middle of cooking, I just pick the pan up, grab some kitchen towel and wipe it all off into the sink. Then, I carry on without problems. The non-stick coating is fantastic and really hard-wearing. All my pancakes and chapatis are perfect now. I've used many types of oil/ghee in this pan and had great results all round.UPDATE - 12 April 2016:This pan is still going strong and it has had lots of use since I bought it. The recipe for pancakes has worn off from the underside over time. I expected this, due to it being constantly heated with fire. Pretty obvious this would happen really. No matter, because that was just a cute extra for me and I only really used it for pancakes a few times when I first bought it to test it out. For me, this pan's main purpose was for chapatis...and for anyone who regularly makes chapatis, you'll know you don't use oil of any kind in the pan because there is enough fat in the actual chapati. This is how you achieve the lovely dark spots on the bubbles and produce a healthy flat bread. I had thought about buying another of these as a back-up...but, seriously, this pan had not changed its sturdy shape since I bought it. The handle has not become loose at all and, if you don't use oil, there is no real need to scrub it. The small amount of burned floury crumbs that collect as you're cooking can just be scraped off into the sink or a bin with a sheet of kitchen roll. If just using for chapatis and not regular frying of greasy food that could be burned on and need deeper cleaning, this pan will last you. Apart from the underside being scorched by flames, this pan looks and feels as it did when I bought it. To make my chapatis even healthier, I often use Vitalite margarine and this pan cooks them just as well as if I'd used ghee.

Great initially, poor in the long run!
Purchased this pancake pan for Shrove Tuesday in 2017 and it worked great. To be honest it has been used only once or twice since but has performed well when called upon.Today, Shrove Tuesday 2018 has been a bit of a disappointment so far as this pan is concerned, on flipping a pancake disaster struck, the handle simply snapped. Now the pancakes I make are normal in every way, the flipping of the pancakes is nothing flash either and pan has not been mistreated or stored incorrectly, it's just cheap and nasty handle material. My advice, avoid this unless you plan on binning it after its first use.

Pan works ok
It cooks fine so far. However the recipe on the back is awful. As long as u use a different recipe it cooks OK. It was also packaged in a thin paper envelope, & there were 2 together. I'm astounded they didn't crash together & chip all the coating off.

Perfect pancakes, near-perfect pan
Kitchen Craft Crepe/ Pancake Pan with Recipe on Base, 24 cmThis pancake pan was purchased due to the combination of favourable reviews and affordable price. At the time of this review, the product has increased a few pounds in price. As usual, Amazon delivered the product in a couple of days despite using the 'super saver' delivery option. It was well, albeit slightly over-packaged however other uses will be found for the box before it it recycled. The pan itself is lightweight with a non-stick coating and basic recipe on the base that is useful for non-seasoned pancake makers.Washing the pan is straightforward and its size makes it perfect for both thin (crepe) and thick pancakes.Even with the non-stick coating, I have found it better to brush a thin layer of melted butter in between pancakes to ensure nothing sticks. As other reviewers have stated, the handle is a minor issue that the manufacturer seems to have overlooked. It feels slightly fragile and I can envisage it breaking if the pan is flipped too robustly. To avoid this, I have opted to use an egg slice turn my pancakes.I feel this should not detract too much from the usefulness of the pan since pancakes do not necessarily need to be flipped in the air.All in all a good, fit for purpose product!
