Solid machine
After 3 laptops from one of the most popular makers, I finally have a solid high performance machine. This laptop is well built with key internals that will serve me for quite some time. Ample storage and speed are its' key points. One improvement I would have liked to see are Harmon Kardon speakers. Also they should have been placed on top in front of the screen rather than under the front corners where they get muffled if you have computer resting on your lap. Other than that, I am very happy with Acer.

Solid Performing Laptop for Photo Editing
I'm very satisfied with this laptop considering I paid about $1,250. It boots quickly, has plenty of storage, and handles Photoshop/Lightroom well. It does have a few minor issues 1) The screen seems to dim unexpectedly, but as soon as I provide input (keyboard or touchpad) it immediately brightens up. I have the screen shut off after two hours with no inputs and this happens more often than that. I notice when I'm loading various webpages. It seems when I click a link, the screen dims when the page starts to load, but then when I touch the touchpad, it comes right back. 2) The sound is often too low. Again, this occurs with certain webpages. It happens too frequently for me to suspect that it's the pages that I'm viewing. I will typically turn the volume on the page all the way up and then check to ensure the system sound is also set to 100%. A CFExpress and SD card slot would be a nice addition but that's not really a complaint because I knew I would need a reader when I bought the laptop. 3) The USB-C connection is on the back of the laptop...placing it on the side would make reaching it way easier. Those are all small nits to pick, and like I said, I'm satisfied with it.

An Excellent Gaming Rig
It plays everything I wanted it to play and the OS was easier to adjust to than I expected. My only complaint is that it runs very hot, but that's pretty normal for a gaming laptop in my experience.

not new
BEWARE these are not new computers The one I recevved was not clean and some of the parts were taped to the outrside of the box I got it up and running, but I'm disappointed that is a used system I would send it back but i've had enough hassles this year already.

Laptop is good but not RGB Backlit
Specs are all as advertised and laptop is great but keyboard is NOT RGB backlit, it only has a red backlight which is not a deal breaker but was a selling point for me so I'm a little disappointed. For anyone else buying the laptop. If your keyboard has solid red outlines around WASD, arrow keys, and the Nitrosense button, then the keyboard is only a red backlit keyboard.
