Only been using it for a month. The blade is serrated so the only way to wash it is with a brush, any type of sponge gets stuck between the little slits on the blade. Other than that it’s really good, very sharp and sturdy. It’s good enough to peel a butternut squash, but you need to use a bit of force. It glides through carrots, parsnips and apples without any issues.

Nice and sharp, peels a fine layer. Reasonably comfy to hold

Does the job and seems durable

I bought this because I lost our first one and missed it so much! It works really well. It is very sharp and will cut/peel almost any vegetable or fruit. The slight drawback is the ‘teeth’ on the blades - they can cause difficulty peeling soft items as they tend to drag or cut into the peel. Otherwise- the best peeler I have ever used in some 50years!

I've only used the Victorinox peeler for potatoes so far. It peeled them with ease. The peel wasn't so thick that it seemed like I was peeling half the potato away - I've had peelers that did this in the past. The blade allowed the peel to fall away from the cutting area, so it didn't get caught up or was in the way. The peeled surface had little grooves left in from the shape of the blade, but I'm fine with that. The handle is comfortable to hold too. This peeler is set to become my favourite kitchen tool.

Very sharp, serrated blade, which works equally well for hard and soft fruit and vegetables. Incorporates a plastic beak for gouging the eyes out of potatoes. So far, it seems very robust and is excellent value for a Victorinox product.

Well it works, but seems incredibly flimsy so not expecting it to last long

I was surprised to find the handle is plastic... which in my experience is not a good thing and foreshadows a short life of such an item, but damn the blade is sharp! So for first use it went superb.Hope the plastic is good quality and thus it will hold the blade well and long!

Es bonito, útil y de excelente calidad. Lo único malo es que tienes que tener cuidado por esta tan bien afilado que fácil podrías cortarte. Se nota en los materiales que durará toda la vida y que no tendré que preocuparme de que no funcione bien.

It's Victorinox what do you expect?! No really it's the best peeler that I have ever used, but word of caution: be careful it's very sharp.

This little thing is the greatest tool to have in your kitchen. I was a bit suspicious of the price at first, but after it using it for almost a month I can totally swear by its quality. Peeling is so easy with this, doesn't even require force. And the design makes it very handy plus it glides both ways - upwards and downwards.Just go for it!!!
