Definitely worth the effort
I have people traipsing past my bathroom window all the time - within about 5 feet - the window (ground floor) is approximately 2/3 of the bathroom wall therefore there's really nowhere to hide as the blind and 'frosted' glass are totally inadequate. Since I've put this film on the window it has improved my privacy, I'm only sorry that it didn't occur to me to try this film out before.I suffer from RA and found the process of cutting to the required size the most tricky part, the application to the glass was quite fun - it didn't matter if I messed up as it's easy to reposition time and again if necessary, and it was!! I would recommend it to anyone, it's definitely worth the effort and for a relatively small cost. I've done my kitchen windows and door too (with a patterned film) as the bathroom is accessed from the kitchen which is overlooked.from a nearby property but thankfully no one has access to walk past.I think it does help to protect from UV however I haven't covered the lounge and bedroom windows yet so I can't really comment on a reduction in the temperature - all of my windows are south facing except for the kitchen so the property gets very hot when I'm at work all day. I'm hoping to be able to test this over the next few weeks.

Great finish if you are careful with your preparation and tools
This worked really well and produced exactly the kind of effect we wanted. Also amazingly inexpensive compared to some product out there. Particularly like that you can peel and reapply if necessary, and the ability to make quite major adjustments as you apply it was great. The job would have been almost impossible with an adhesive backed film. You do need to take lots of care with the measurement and cutting and follow all the instructions to the letter. The video was very useful and included a couple of tips not on the written instructions. The best way to cut it is with a knife against a long metal ruler on a cutting surface. My method was to invest in a 2m length of hardboard, mark on the shape using dark pencil on the hardboard, which shows through the film. Lay the film on the board face up (backing film against the board) and stick it down with a few small tags of sticky tape before cutting. Also well worth investing in the installation kit as the squeegie blade is clearly designed for the job and not like anything else you will find - certainly better than the usual rubber squeegie. Since installing I have noticed a couple of tiny air bubbles. It should be easy enough to peel back, reapply soapy water and stick back down.

Works better than expected
Purchased the bathroom version when I realized you could actually see in through the obscure glass to a certain extent. This was easy to cut to size, simple to fit and trim, and highly effective in adhesion. The result was excellent obscurity whilst still permitting light through to the same extent as before. The only problem I experienced was getting the backing off. It does come with one fitted tag for removal. This worked well. But of course, I cut the product to size and the other pieces I used did not have the removal tag. Took longer to get the backing off than it did to fit and trim the product itself - found that part very frustrating. But all in all very glad I made this purchase.

Worked on a mirror
Purchased to put onto a mirror. Opaque finish. Followed instructions and used plenty of water (sprayed) on mirror and film. Applied to mirror and smoothed with squeeze and cloth. Finger marks at first, but after 24 hours these had gone, leaving a smooth finish - after 10 days it is still stuck, with no air bubbles. Very pleased.

Useful product that provides easy solution to clear windowpanes in downstairs toilet (next to path to back door). Our windows have 9 individual smaller panes and it was easy to cut and fit the window privacy film to those that would make toilet usage more private! I haven't given 5 stars because although the film looks great during the day, at night, all the small air bubbles in the film are very visible. We couldn't use a squeegee type wiper to remove all the air bubbles because of the size of the individual panes.

Great results!
Well, all I can say is it’s a good job there was so much in the roll as it took me 3 attempts to get it right! It’s not the easiest to peel off the backing whilst trying not to get anything stuck underneath it (with 3 cats and a dog, it seemed to attract their hair despite me doing it on a clean surface). However, it’s pretty good! We used it on glass for a kitchen cabinet and I’m really pleased with the result :) Now all that’s left to do is shave the animals ;)

Impressed
We have a small bathroom window surrounded by tiles and really didn't want to go to the hassle of drilling through them for the sake of putting up a small curtain / blind. So we seeked a cheap alternative in this. To be honest, our expectations were low considering the price. But the film was very easy to cut and apply; and the right amount of light is still let through whilst frosting out the background. It looks great and we can now thankfully shower without the paranoia of the neighbourhoods being able to see in :)

Looks great and easy to fit.
Very good product and looks great. Easy to manoeuvre when fitting. Only slight problem was a very small part of the edging (about 10mm) wouldn't stick flat to the window even though there were no air bubbles underneath but you can only see it up close. Nobody else has noticed it and it may flatten in time. Spray plenty of water on to window and window film before attempting to fit.
