Great for facial hair for beginners
Never waxed before was a bit doubtful I'd be able to do it properly. So I bought this knowing it was a small pot to test, and I have to say it was very easy to use. Not very painful and I was pleased with the results. No pain afterwards I was pleasantly surprised. Good for beginners being a small pot.

This product has changed!!!
I hv used this product for 20 years. Now all is different and not fit for purpose. Shame! The wooden spatula is now paper thin and difficult to be precise on application. The was is now difficult to remove from skin. Saving money on such previously great product? 🙄

Used to get this product from Boots, however it seems they have discounted it! So pleased I can get it on Amazon. Had it on the subscription too so never run out. Removes unwanted hair easily and without damage to the skin. I like the microwaveable version, which is very quick and easy to melt. 5 stars from me

1. Protect clothes and the area in which you are working in case of spillage 2. Remove contents from packaging. Release the Aluminium handle outwards. DO NOT remove the handle from the container. 3. On your first application, remove one tablet from the container so that one tablet remains. It is not advisable to heat more than one tablet at a time. 4. Heat carefully using one of the two methods: A. GAS - Turn on the gas to the LOWEST setting. Place the container exactly in the centre of the smallest gas ring support. The flames must remain directly in the centre of the container and must not creep around the side of the tin. Heat for 2 - 4 minutes. B. ELECTRIC or CERAMIC HOB surfaces - Position the container on the edge of the hob so the tin is on the heat source, but the handle is not directly above the heat source. This will reduce the heat conducted into the handle and make handling the container easier. Heat for 2 - 6 minutes at the LOWEST temperature. 5. Test the wax for temperature on the back of the hand using the spatula to apply the wax. When ready to use, the wax should be COMFORTABLY hot on the skin. It should not drip when applied to the hand but remain fairly viscous. 6. Using the spatula, lightly apply the first coating of wax in the direction of hair growth, from root to tip. After a few seconds apply another coating of wax in the opposite direction. IMMEDIATELY apply a third and final coat over both layers in the same direction as the first coat - root to tip. 7. Allow the wax to set slightly and press firmly against the skin, DO NOT let the wax harden. 8. While the wax is pliable, hold the surrounding skin taut with one hand and quickly pull back the wax against the direction of the hair growth. The quicker this action is done the less discomfort.

This wax should not be used on skin that is sunburnt, chapped, cut ordamaged in any way.
It is not reccomended to use the wax over moles, warts, eczema,varicose veins or other skin injuries.
Wax should not be used by diabetics or on loose skin.
Clothes and the area in which you are working should be protected in case of spillage.
ALL WAXES ARE FLAMMABLE. THE WAX SHOULD NEVER BE IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH AN OPEN FLAME.
