I had tried other brands of carrot oil before but one left me looking like one of Willy Wonka’s Oompa-Loompa’s – all orange. I looked like I had drank too much Tango. As you can imagine this put me off. The problem was that I was aware of the great effect of pure carrot oil on the skin.I knew it was great for healing and brilliant for dry skin too. As someone who likes the sun on their skin and doesn’t like to hide away when the sun is out, I knew that I should be using something like carrot oil to help heal and rejuvenate the skin after UV exposure. I wanted the benefits of carrot oil, but I didn’t like the orange look! So, even though I had tried other products in your range – and been very happy with them – I deliberately steered well clear of your carrot Oil. That is, until last week. It was only when I was alone that I decided to try a little oil on my arm as a test. Immediately it looked orange and I thought here we go again!However I massaged it in and its colour faded very quickly. All that was left to see was a feint (and pleasant) glow on my skin. It was subtle and made me look ever so slightly tanned – and cheaper than false tan!  I was thrilled! This was exactly what I was looking for. It gave me all the benefits of carrot oil which I had read about and researched, without any of that horrible bright orange appearance. Yours is the best carrot oil product I have ever tried. I have actually thrown out other brands because I knew that if I put them on, I wouldn’t be able to go out that day!! I’d have to just sit in my room looking like a can of Fanta! With yours, I use just a little – which goes a long way – and I work it in and there is no bright orange look – just that healthy skin look.What I wanted most of all was the great antioxidant qualities of natural carrot oil which helps repair cell damage in the skin. I know that carrot oil is said to penetrate deeply, moisturizing the skin to a layer often missed by other oils. What some people don’t know is that it actually feeds the skin. Beta-carotene is a vitamin A precursor which provides only as much vitamin A as is required by the skin. It also has the property of helping eliminate excess water from the skin. So this product is exactly the one for me.I also should mention that I am careful about which products I put on my skin as I know some contain very nasty chemicals indeed, like Propylene glycol which is actually anti-freeze, or parabens and sulphates. I noticed that these were not in your products and I have to tell you that your policy of putting no harmful ingredients in your products was a real selling point for me too.

I bought this oil to use as a moisturiser and for its anti-aging benefits. I use it on my face after cleansing before bed, and in the morning my skin is soft and supple. On application it is easily absorbed with not too much of a greasy residue.It's slightly oompa loompa-ish in terms of colour, but that doesn't bother me since I use it over night. I've given it 4 stars since I have had a little break out after using, but I think perhaps I should have been using with a carrier oil, so will continue to use with sweet almond oil.It comes in a decent size bottle with an easy to use dropper. This makes it less messy to use and helps prevent waste, so I reckon this bottle will last me ages.***I try to be as candid as possible in my reviews, which I'm sure you will gather. Thought this was "pure" carrot oil but it's a sunflower seed oil and Cartenoids.Don't know if I'm happy with it or not. I might just use as a moisturiser after my hand cream.

I have always been blessed with good skin, however age and hormones seem to be the cause of a recent bout of red, itchy and tiny pimpled skin around my nose and upper lip. Googled it and self diagnosed roseacea ( rightly or wrongly). Decided to give this oil a try as it is all natural and very gentle. Only time will tell if this is the best solution for my face, but it has not made it worse, and it does seem a little better after only 4 days of using the oil. It soothes and calms my irritated skin, and leaves my face looking a little sun kissed as a bonus, it is absorbed well, leaving skin moisturised and not very greasy. I have not noticed any odour in the oil, as some others have. A little goes a long way, so the bottle will last ages. Only downside is it can stain pillowcases etc if you use too much or do not rub it in really well, but this should wash out anyway. Just give it a try if you like natural skincare, and like myself, I am sure you will like it too.

Pros: it moisturises. Cons: it leaves a yellow/orangey colour on the skin, which, at least on my super-light skin, does NOT fade. Nor does it sink into the skin particularly well. Today, I brushed against my neck where I had applied the oil 3 hours earlier and then touched a book, leaving yellow imprints on the page. Then I wiped my neck with a napkin: lots of yellow/orange smears on the napkin. This is 3 HOURS after I had put it on. That means it'll also come off on clothes, pillows etc. I don't know what I'll use this for, but I won't put it on my face, neck or body anymore.

Found this to be very messy..There is no easy way to extract this oil out of the bottle... Just pours and hence messy. Would be better if there was a dripped, squeeze bottle or some form of controlling the flow... ?It does make you orange and wears off.. So only wore if I was staying in the house😳Is moisturising but... Not any better than anything I have used before..shame... Disappointed

Amazing...love it...I am really particular about stuff slathered on my skin and have to say, I did a lot of research before my purchase and I am not disappointed...I add to the body moisturiser also purchased at same time and my skin in just a week has improved so much...much softer and a nice tint to my legs...I struggle with self tan products, nothing works and this is just enough...will see how it performs on my holidays as a sun factor (I know it's not a screen). On my face I add a drop to sweet almond oil for my end of day cleanse routine with a drop of red raspberry oil and my face actually looks great with not a drop of foundation...again in a week! Will definitely be purchasing again...not often a product is both natural, animal friendly also delivers on the claims...well done people, don't stop making! 😍

Me encanta este aceite. Deja un color precioso a la cara y es una alegría verse con este tono tan bonito. Además supongo que le vendrá muy bien a la piel. La recomiendo 100%.. La volveré a comprar.

Ravie de ce produit dès la première utilisation,je suis une adepte de la bronzette et souvent j'ai des coups de soleil avec ce produit je n'ai pas encore eu de coup de soleil je l'applique après ma séance de bronzage et j'ai jamais eu une peau aussi douce et agréable au toucher en plus ça me donne un effet bonne mine,

El envase y el aceite es tal cual se muestra y especifica, buena calidad y llegó a tiempo. Pero el libro electrónico que te envían por email viene en Ingles, les pedí que me lo enviaran en Español pero no lo tienen disponible en este idioma.

Al ser de zanahoria tienes que tener cuidado ya que mancha bastante, por lo demás hace su función de aceite.
