Riomor Space Heater, 1500W Portable Heater, 60°Oscillating Electric Heater, Heater for Bedroom Office Indoor Use

Update: I'm going down to 3 stars because of two other things that started happening within a month of daily use. First, when the heater is on, it sometimes simply stops blowing heat for no apparent reason. This happens on its own, without our touching it at all. It stops working, then sometimes, a few minutes later, will start blowing heat again on its own. This is a pain. Second, when it's on its swivel function, it sometimes makes a clicking sound at the end of one full swivel. This is annoying, and furthermore is loud enough for us to not be able to fall asleep if we have it swiveling beside our bed.Previous: This is a good, cheap space heater. The heat output is great at both levels, and the swivel function is nice. The only downside is that within a week of using it moderately, it stopped working because the safety switch on the bottom malfunctioned. (I'd had the heater on, then I moved it about two inches over without turning it off, and it suddenly stopped working and wouldn't restart.) I unscrewed the safety switch on the bottom and found that this enabled the heater to work; but I wanted the safety switch on, so I screwed it back on loosely, to the point where the spring action worked. After that, the heater worked normally for about two weeks, and then it again stopped working because of the safety switch malfunctioning. I tried simply unscrewing it somewhat to make it more loose, but that didn't do the trick this time, so I simply removed it altogether. I'll probably try putting it on again to get it to work, but it'll be a bit of a nuisance if this problem continues to recur.

I received this space heater on December 21, 2022 and on January 21, 2023 it stopped working. I must say I don't even use it every day and when I do I usually leave it on for no more than half an hour to an hour because it heats up my room very quickly and has no temperature control. When I opened it to investigate what could be preventing it from working I discovered that one of the wires had burned out (see photo), luckily it didn't set my room on fire or create other damage. As you may have noticed, this heater only lasted 30 days and I wasted my money. Don't bet your money on it; you will lose it too.

The media could not be loaded.  I have ordered 2 of these in the past as gifts and the people that received this heater LOVED it. They said it warms up super well. A little room will warm up super quick in estimated 20-30min it’s with this little warmer. The cool air option isn’t very cold it’s just a cool wind type of deal. But these were gifted because they needed the heater. Anyways, this time I got a 3rd order of the heater to gift to my mom and I was SO DISAPPOINTED that it came damaged. The heater itself was broken. Idk if it was from shipping and whoever handled it. Or maybe it was just a product that wasn’t glued properly because it was falling apart. We thought maybe we can just put it back together and something would just “click” inside and stay put together. But no it was that. I sent it back right away. I got her a different one for now but hopefully it was just a faulty item.

This is a nice little heater that puts out a lot of warmth. It's perfect to put at your feet in a drafty room so you can snuggle up in the evenings. Unfortunately, I bought two units and returned them both because after about 2 weeks of evening use (a few hours per night), the units stopped working completely. This was not simply due to overheating. If you wiggle the safety switch (located on the bottom, supposedly there in case the unit falls over) after it shuts off, it will start up again. But unless it sits at a certain angle or you hold the switch in manually, it will not work. The second time I thought I'd be clever and sit it on the edge of a small table so the corner was pressed against the switch, but even that stopped working after a few days. I expected to get at least a winter's use out of a $30 heater, so I'm very disappointed :(

We had gotten this space heater for Christmas 2021. It worked wonderful- Heated a room very quickly. The safety switch stop working and/or malfunctioned so the heater randomly stopped while on or wouldn't turn on at all. We used this heater for 6months to 1 year without issues and even with these issues we managed to use it.I got my husband a new one for Christmas 2022...it worked for 5 minutes and doesn't turn on at all now. RETURNED.

My heat had been going out in my apartment off and on this winter. I loved that it had a rotating feature. So, naturally I purchased this heater to keep in my room for cold days. It produces a great amount heat. But, when it rotates it creates a loud creek that drives me insane. Also, the safety feature on the bottom randomly stopped working, which is slightly concerning. Overall, I think there are better options out there that are worth your money.

Definitely heating the place extremely well and fast, I was really surprised. It is the only reason why I didn’t send it back.I bought it based on the low price of less than $30. For what I thought it will be it looked liked an amazing price. BUT you get what you paid for.1. It’s not as tall as you think2. It’s cheaply made3. After a few days it started making noises on startup. The noises go away after a couple of minutes4. ITS VERY LOUD!. Unlike the in the product description, this is NOT a quite heater, it’s actually the exact opposite of quite, I need to turn on the TV so I can hear it over the noise this heater makes, like a leaf blower inside your apartment. BUT it makers my apartment warm and comfy so fast I got used to the noise and I don’t need it on all the time since it heats so well

We loved this little heater. It could heat up a small room is under 5 minutes. We used it for maybe 3 weeks with intermittent use, nothing longer than 30 minutes on. One morning it just decided not to cut on. I tried different outlets, there was no physical damage to the heater. Obviously this is a common issue with this heater and I should have done more research before I bought it.
