A somewhat thick, clear substance that I find to be quite good for my mature combination skin. Because of having this skin type, I need to be able to satisfy both ends of the spectrum. I need to moisturize my skin quite often, but I also need to be careful about going overboard or I end up breaking out. Yes, even at this latter stage of my life. This is a good facial serum for me to use to help maintain that balance. It's good for the skin, clean, and makes it look and feel younger than its years.I will mention though that it will leave the skin on the dewy side. Because of that, I prefer to use this on my drier days. Even though it does leave a damp residual along the surface of the skin, it's rather easy to control. After all of my skincare regimen has been completed, I'll give it a little bit of time to fully absorb and set, then I'll ever so gently pat my skin with a towel to remove the excess. That will leave most of it behind to perform its magic, but the excess will be removed.Good for most skin types, but I'd suggest that those with oilier skin should use this lightly until they get a handle on how this works best for them. It is clean and good for the skin. Those with drier skin will love the extra moisturization. This is a product that is just as good for men as it is for women.

This is a very calming and soothing serum for my dry, sensitive skin. My skin tends to become dehydrated, rough and reddened very easily and when that happens, it doesn't respond well to most of the skin care products I have always used to keep it in check. This clearing ampoule seemed as if it would be perfect for me. I have had good luck with products containing Centella and I like the inclusion of calamine and damask rose water in the formulation. It is thick, rich and has a slight oily feel to it. It is quite viscous and feels rather syrupy, but it isn't too heavy on my skin and it absorbs quickly. It does feel just a bit tacky for a few minutes after applying. It helps reduce any redness and my face feels smoother and more supple. it also seems to help replenish the lipids my skin needs and I found it to be more moisturizing than I expected. it feels like a light protective veil on my skin and helps it stay hydrated. I have experienced no irritation. I prefer using it at night, but I do use it occasionally in the morning when my skin needs a little TLC. Now that warmer temperatures have arrived, I can even skip the moisturizing step sometimes. I only need a small amount, and the price seems very reasonable. The serum is housed in a pretty bottle with a dropper delivery system so there is no mess or waste. It arrived nicely boxed and properly sealed.

I am not a fan of this product simply because of its application method. The product has a dropper to apply the solution to your face and I found that it consistently clogged up or barely got any solution to apply using the dropper. I attempted to just use the product straight out of the bottle without the dropper but that didn’t work out very well either.As for the solution itself, the bottle is small at only 1.0 ounces at a cost of $25.00. Thankfully, it spreads out well without having to use a lot of the solution when applying to your face.The solution is a beautiful pink color that has no smell and does not cause any irritation of the skin. It goes on smoothly and your skin feels moisturized with even a small amount. It does feel a bit oily and sticky for a short time after application, however.Overall, it’s a good product but the application method needs to be re-evaluated.

I absolutely fell in love with this product I love the feeling it gives my skin as well as the smooth makeup application it gives me when applied as a primer. Definitely recommend!

Love having this Cica Care serum on hand here for skin flareups. It is not only healing but also moisturizing. I put it to the test, using it after a home microdermabrasion treatment I do weekly. It calmed down the typical red, exfoliated skin within an hour. It contains Centella Asiata, an herb commonly used for wound healing and scar treatment. It also contains Calamine. As I get occasional hives and flushing on my face, this is super exciting for me. I will be running for my Cica instead of Cortaid next time. It also is supposed to address inflammatory pigmentation when used regularly.This serum is unscented and a clear girly pink color. The price for 1 ounce is reasonable considering the effect ingredients. Happy to have such a calming potion on my shelf for my finicky skin.
