Cools amazingly well and looks sleek!
My 5800X was hitting 74c with my old BeQuiet Pure Rock 2 (150 watt TDP). Well the 5800x will pull just over 140 watts when PBO is running and I wasn't happy with 72-74c while gaming. I picked up this cooler and without changing anything else, I'm running 56-58c in the same workload! It's pretty easy to install as well. Even easier than the Pure Rock 2, which is already pretty easy. The cooler is decently thick but really not too bad. The fan is also pretty quiet. Even at full speed it's drowned out by my other Corsair case fans. Oh and that little green emblem on the top, you can pop it out, color it black with a marker, and pop it back in. You can still kinda see the logo but without that weird greenish color. I left the sticker though. You can't really see it anyway. But this cooler works amazing and I'm glad I bought it! Hopefully it is actually AM5 compatible because I'll probably be upgrading with I can get my hands on something like an AMD 8700 and I'd like to reuse this cooler.

AK500/Ryzen 7 5800X
For starters, here are my PC specs... ALL AIR COOLED! R7 5800X/MSi 3080 gaming z trio, MSi X570S gaming edge max wifi Mobo, 32gb CL16@3200mhz ram in an O11 air mini. I went from a CM Hyper 212 Black (leftover from a previous build, no stock cooler for 5800X) to the AK620. However, the 620 I received was defective, the towers weren't aligned/something was bent. Installed the 620 anyway just for testing. With stock power settings on 5800X, I had about 40C idle and 80C full load. Not bad, since I typically run an undervolt and temps are way lower at any given clock speed. I ordered an AK500 for comparison. The 500 is about $15 cheaper than the 620 with nearly the same "tdp". The 500 won't overhang the memory slots at all, so no memory clearance issues to worry about, however, the trade off is you may not be able to run push/pull due to VRM heat shields or case exhaust fan clearance, depending on your rig. The 500 idles at 40-45C on stock settings and 82-84C full load. With my undervolt applied and new CPU fan curve, idle is 36-40C, gaming 58C, 70-72C full load. Overall, the 500 is 2-4C less efficient depending on your CPU and settings, but I think the fact that it won't interfere with RAM height is worth 4C. Can't hear the fk120 (included cooler fan on both the 500/620) at idle or up to around 900-950rpm in my noise evironment. For only a single fan, the AK500 is a champ and handles a stock/ undervolted 5800X with ease. Noise and temp levels are lower than my 212 (single fan + smaller, older tower design). Mounting the 500 was actually easier than the 620. I didn't need to push down as hard on the screws to start them on the mounting brackets (yes, I loosened the center screw on the 620, it helped, but not a lot.) In short, the AK500 is a solid mid tier air cooler, even for hot CPUs like a 5800X. The included fan is very quiet at sub 900rpm and even at 72C under full load, I was able to keep the rpm within a barely audible rpm range using fan curve. There are included spring clips for a 2nd fan, if desired/will fit in your rig. I don't think you'll need one, tho.

Great CPU Cooler
Setup on of these on an AMD AM5 7900X processor. Easy to install and it works fantastic while quiet.

Deep Cool AK500
I like everything about this cooler. In reviews, this simple, but well thought out cooler is right at the top - it performs very well, while remaining simple, efficient, and compact. It installed easily on my ATX board. A recommended cooler - very satisfied. You can get larger, more complex systems, but rarely more benefit.

Ak500 on 5900x
The media could not be loaded. Im leaving this here to show the ak500 on a 5900x since i couldnt find anything with this combo so i hope this helps people considering this for a 5900x. So right off the bat this thing a chonker photo shows ak500 with 2 fans on it next to my ak400 zero dark plus. This replaced my 240mm aio since it was starting to go out and it already beats that aio to a pulp (cheap ibuypower) i replaced my front fans with 2 140mm fans for intake. Added a 2nd fk120 fan to the ak500 for a push pull combo, and the temps on this thing are amazing idle at start up after it settles is about 28°C and will only go as high as 33°C at idle. I stress test the cooler and cpu with cinebench R23 (shown in the video) xmp on with default settings with pbo overclocking enabled and limit off. All cores settled around 60°C during the test and pretty much sat there the entire time. Sidenote i also installed the cooler with thermal grizzly kryonaut thermal paste. My case fans are all set to a locked speed and only the cpu fans are set to auto even at full speed the case is still very quiet at 38is decibels. To say im impressed with the performance compared to the aio i had is an understatement even brand new i wouldnt see these kinds of temps from the aio. I really like the ak500 since it was smaller then the ak620 so i didnt have to worry about ram clearance. I also recommend getting a 2nd fan for it just for the extra cooling but it does bring the price up to around $70 but imo it was worth it for peace of mind and extra cooling for the 5900x.Update: After a few days of running this cooler and testing a few games even under full load all cores dont even go over 60°C. The highest temps ive seen is on the cpu package which hasnt gone higher then 67°C but all the cores settle under 60°C.

Super impressed with this air cooler
I connected this cooler to a 12th gen i7 that runs at 125w, I ran a OCCT test and reached max temps of only 68C!!! My 11th gen i7 thats running off a Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 hits temps of 75c. I'll most likely be switching to this cooler on my other machine. Its way thicker than any air cooler I've ever seen and has many heat pipes, the fan is super silent and has rubber grommets on the corners. Comes with additional clips to attach another fan to the rear if needed but honestly its not needed. Deep Cool has come a very long way and I'm super impressed.

Deep cooling at a low price
This cooler leaves plenty of room for 4 sticks of ram and isn’t in the way at all, it actually keeps my cpu at lower temperatures than AIO I’ve had, and even competes with liquid coolers that are double the price. If you’re thinking about getting this bad boy just do it, its vvveerrryyy deep.

Excellent price to performance, excellent ram clearance.
Works perfectly with a 13600K. Idle temps in the high 20s low 30s. Under 40C in regular workloads. The AK500 Zero Dark looks and works great. No need to worry about ram clearances with the cooler offset. It's quiet at load too which is an added bonus. Fits perfectly fine in most compact ATX cases. Wondering how performance would compare to the 620 if this were a push pull config...

I reccomend it
It is a nice looking air cooler with a good performance overall. Far better than the cheapest aio out there.
