Surprisingly Fun!
I must admit this a reluctant purchase. But it was one of the few things on my 5 year olds Christmas list. I stocked up on jelly and we set to work making 3 different flavours which was great fun. We found it easy to use and daughter really enjoyed turning the handle while it all squished out into the cup. She had a friend over for tea who was also suitable impressed. Is easier to clean than I thought it would be. Also good for making vodka jelly creations for the adults (don't tell my daughter)

cheap plastic and the drinks are nothing like the description on the box
This is really not worth the money, cheap plastic and the drinks are nothing like the description on the box, BUT my grandson loves playing this with me so was worth every penny to keep him happy, he really loves making the different coloured jelly drinks and the little jelly moulds, hence the 5 stars

Lots of fun!
If your kids like jelly, they'll love this! We've had it a few years now and its still being enjoyed. We normally use it on a tray as its easier to clear up afterwards!

The kids LOVE it... I'm not so keen.
My kids (8 and 10) love this product. My daughter was very excited to receive it for her birthday and dreamed of jelly slushies till we could make them at the weekend. You have to be organised as to when you plan to use it as obviously you need to have the jelly pre-made. I didn't read the instructions until after I'd made the jelly but they do recommend making it slightly weaker than normal but I made it normally and we didn't have any problems. The kids wanted 3 different flavours of jelly so they could make it like it was on the box so it's a bit heavy on the tupperware and fridge space for a couple of days. You have to build the machine but it's not too hard. I did it earlier without the kids as they would have been very little help with this process.First we made the jelly sweets which was quite fun. you take one cube of raw jelly and wet it a little.then pull a little cutter down over it which chops it into the right size pieces for the little moulds. Once the moulds have all got a bit of jelly in you microwaves it for a few seconds and you can see the jelly relax into the mould. We then put the moulds in the freezer to reset again while we made the slush. To make the slush you fill the cannister which has 3 compartments with the different jellies. Pop the plunger in the top and turn the handle. Jelly slush pours into the cup below. The cups are pretty tiny so it's not much of a turn before you need to move on to another colour. The instructions recommend popping the sweets in between the jelly layers but our had only been in the freezer 5 mins so weren't ready. when your slush cup is full you add a little juice and slurp away. When we first tried to get the sweets out we couldn't get them out of the mould but a few minutes later they came out easier and the kids were pleased with them. We will try putting a drop of water in the moulds next time as the instructions suggest.I've give it 4 stars because the kids loved it and it does what it claims. Dropping a star because I really don't think we'll use it that much. It involves the forward thinking of buying and making the jelly. Doesn't actually take very long to do and the results would probably be similar if I just stirred the jelly with a fork a bit. I probably spent just as long washing and drying it up afterwards.

which she was delighted with, but will just have to make do ...
This is the only thing my 5 year old wanted for Christmas. Armed with pots of ready made jelly in different colours I set about constructing the maker, a bit fiddly, but you don't need a degree in engineering. Unfortunately the plastic knobble thing that holds the dispenser together broke the first time she tried to change colours. We still managed to make some cups, which she was delighted with, but will just have to make do without the machine next time. It is a good idea and not too messy but one very disappointed child.

Dishwasher safe, kids love it
I personally don't get it, but my little girl has played for hours with it. So much that the jelly can't set quick enough! Super glad its dishwasher safe. The machine is sturdy and easy to take apart for the dishwasher. Just make sure you have made loads of different coloured jelly before you hand it over, as you will be amazed how long children can play with this!

Mum not impressed but sons love it!
Unfortunately I'm not that impressed with this! It's a lot of faff for not much at the end- you have to make 3 different colours of jelly as this is what is pictured on the box so if course is what the kids want! The gummy sweets won't come out of the moulds leaving u in a sticky mess! It's also something you need to be quite organised for- making the jelly before hand so it's sets in time for the kids to make- which literally takes about two seconds!Having said all that my son's loved it but a pain for parents!
